If someone has cognitive impairment make everything less scary. Get family or carers to attend. Explain what's going on. Ensure food, drink and toilets are obvious. Explain what's going on. Ensure pain is controlled. Explain what's going on. Listen. Explain what's going on.
Listened to ‘A Day In The Life of an Occupational Therapist’ by the MDTea Podcast during this mornings commute- what a great summary of the OT role within the Acute hospital setting. A valuable listen for all members of the MDT. #MDTea_Podcast #OT

Just finished work, these are the things I noticed on leaving:
Number of ambulances queuing at A&E = 16
Number of Paramedic/first responder vehicles queuing at A&E = 4
Number of covid deniers/anti-lockdowners stood photographing/videoing the above = 0!
🤔🤔 Wonder why?
This woman has been spreading such hate about the NHS and its staff. I hope justice is served🙏🏻
