So… this just happened. 😲
So very proud of our Flexport.org team.

Zelenskyy had agreed to an energy ceasefire. Zelenskyy has said he would agree to peace even if it means ceding some territory. Yet many people in the US blame Zelenskyy for the war's continuation.
⚡️ BREAKING: Zelensky says he agrees to freezing the conflict
Journalist: “Would you accept a peace deal that freezes everything the way it is right now? Where you still keep 75% or more of your country? Regardless of how it started. Would you accept where it is right now?”
Ukrainian President: “Yes, if we right now we have to freeze and I think this is real way to end this war.”

Upstate NY corn is better than Iowa corn so that's not even a starter. I have never heard of whatever that is that is going on in Arkansas. Deep dish is a tomato casserole.
So then...
You start the day with a pork roll, gumbo for lunch, the brisket for dinner and you pour the fry sauce on the crab cakes as a side.

"Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much."
- President Trump, earlier today
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

So this post is about my gratefulness for Tricare and my disappointment in the US medical system as a whole.
I am military and have Tricare and have never really "needed" it but it has always been nice to know its there.
Then I had my son, he has cystic fibrosis and has been taking Orkambi to manage and since he turned 2 he is now moving to Trikafta.
Attached is the invoice for his new medication and this is for a month.
It is wonderful and amazing and SUCH a benefit to not have to worry about this but my heart aches and bleeds because I know there are people struggling to pay for medications they need to stay alive and the people that say "just get insurance" as if that is a fix.
Simply being alive shouldn't be like this and it baffles me how flippant people are with how they view medical care.
Anyway, glad that my service is benefitting my son, sad it can't be for more.

BREAKING: Debris believed to be from a Chinese rocket has been discovered in a farmer’s cornfield in Minnesota, after the spacecraft’s upper stage reentered Earth’s atmosphere over the United States.
The massive metallic object, approximately 11 feet (3.4 meters) wide, was discovered October 14, prompting an investigation by state and federal authorities.
According to Ars Technica, the evidence points to a Zhuque-2E rocket launched by Chinese company LandSpace on September 15, carrying 10 satellites for China’s Qianfan broadband constellation, a planned rival to SpaceX’s Starlink.
After deploying its satellites, the rocket’s upper stage performed a deorbit maneuver, with its trajectory and diameter closely matching the debris found in Minnesota.
Rocket stages are typically directed toward unpopulated ocean areas during controlled disposal, raising questions about whether this reentry went as planned.
No injuries were reported, and the object’s origin has not yet been officially confirmed.
