I only talk about action games and/or Team Ninja games. 🥷🏻

My Team Ninja games tier list. NG4 isn't included because it was co-developed along Platinum Games. I love TN but there have been some questionable releases. They do 1 amazing videogame (Nioh 3) and then a terrible one the same year (DOA6LR). Why are they so inconsistent? 😭

The second most profitable studio in KT's catalog is Team Ninja and somehow we get half bakeds like DOA6LR and NG3. Someone must hate Itagaki's IPs in top management. I'm just speculating by the way.
Koei Tecmo highlighted their various game development studios! • Omega Force (Dynasty Warriors, Pokémon Pokopia etc) - 41M units sold as a studio • Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, DOA, Wo Long etc.) - 31M • Kou Shibusawa (Nobunaga series) - 26M • Gust (Atelier series, etc.) - 9.5M • AAA Games Studio (Hyrule Warriors, etc.) • Ruby Party (Romance games) - 2.5M • Midas (Smartphone games)

Funny because when the Mass Effect collab hit Destiny 2, nobody in my clan knew what Mass Effect was. Maybe ME isn't very popular in LATAM countries, and my D2 clan was probably 300 people on Discord.
The #SaveMassEffect petition has reached over 200,000 signatures, gaining even more traction after Commander Shepard actors Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer, along with the Destiny community, showed their support. bit.ly/3VUZnO5

Come on @TeamNINJAStudio and @KoeiTecmoUS. You now have enough budget to make a respectable AAA Ninja Gaiden game. Thanks Atelier and Nioh series for carrying the company, but we need ALL their franchises get the same treatment, specially Ninja Gaiden and DOA. No excuses.
Koei Tecmo Results • Sales are up 19% to ¥37.3b (~$240m) • Operating profits are up 47% to ¥11.7b (~$75m) • Net profits are up 38% to ¥18.6b (~$120m), new record • Sales exceeded forecast by 10%, net profits over double • Full FY forecast revised up by 20% for net profits

My god, Austin Wintory and Mass Effect combination would've been beyond incredible.
Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

This is why 4 is so important and I'll defend it until the end. A brand new game after rereleasing the same games since 2008 is a huge deal, but people don't see it because "Hayabusa isn't the main character". 4 is the best since original 2. 3 almost kills the franchise.
I understand the sentiment, but as a huge Ninja Gaiden fan. I can honestly say No, this series does not deserve more sales because in order to get sales you need to make consistent and quality choices for the consumer when selling your product. Ninja Gaiden as a Franchise has been Heavily mismanaged for the majority of it's existence. Lets take things from the start. Early NG 2D was fine there was the OG Arcade game, the NES trilogy, and a bunch of other NG games on different platforms. That's all well and good, but what happened in the next Gen? People got SNES NG Trilogy, a repackaging of the NES games on the SNES in 1995, and that's it for that entire generation. For 8 years Ryu Hayabusa was only a relevant character in the Gaming mainstream because he was in Dead Or Alive. There were no actual Ninja Gaiden games grom 1992- 2004 Luckily NG 2004 was a masterpiece so the series was able to return in a big way, hitting the ground running. But what happens after that? Ninja Gaiden II (360) doesn't get to be properly polished because the Dev Team got screwed out of their promise the bonuses for their prior work on DoA and they rightfully left. Ninja Gaiden 2004 gets repackage twice with NG Black, and NG Sigma. NGII Gets Repackaged with Sigma 2. The new team in charge of the Franchise puts out Ninja Gaiden 3 vanilla which is half baked and it kills the positive reputation of the Franchise, only to repackge it with NG3 Razor's Edge the version of the game that should have released in the first place. Then Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z is made by Spark Unlimited a dev team that's never made an melee action game before, so as much as they tried they didn't have the experience to make a game that meets the bar of quality that Ninja Gaiden is supposed to be at. Then the franchise goes on Ice for 7 years, and the NG Master Collection releases repackaging these games AGAIN. After that they release Ninja Gaiden II Black repackaging a game A-fucking-gain, and then they finally release Ragebound and NG4 after 11 years of no new games. outside of Vanilla NG3 and Yaiba which have particularly bad receptions, I'm not even mentioning how all these variations of games were received by the community. This is a SHIT way to run a franchise. It's no wonder people don't buy these games, the people who own this franchise don't know how to fucking sell these games, because they fucking over the guys who were doing the best job at selling them back in 2008.

DOA fans, why are we letting Tekken players recompile their old games and play them online? Where's the DOA4 recompile with online and rollback netcode? If anyone has one send it to me lol

Love the comment section praising Ninja Gaiden and roasting its sales too. This franchise deserves much more recognition than it gets. My favorite franchise by far.

The Mexican Tekken community needs a reset as a whole. I’m not only talking about these Ghost Dojos, which are wrong to do, no matter the circumstances. I’m talking about my personal experience.
I really, REALLY didn't want it to come to this, but here we are. I want to address concerns about possible fake participants being added to Mexican dojos to help @DivineExorcist4 qualify for the Tekken World Tour. First, @deerarmyesports is not involved in any of this. We have always marked every DQ, reported attendance accurately, and done everything by the book, even when that meant losing a higher points tier in every single one of our Dojos. We reported similar concerns about dojos in Panama last year, but no action was taken. I understand the frustration this has caused, but it does not justify doing the same here. We have already reported our concerns involving Divine to Bandai Namco officials as well. The events I am referring to are Fist of Lion 2 and Boneless Dojo. Fist of Lion 2 had several unconfirmed accounts that raised concerns about whether those entrants were real participants. The event also was not shared with a large portion of our community, which made me question whether participation was being deliberately limited to help Divine secure the points. For Boneless Dojo, I noticed suspicious participant entries being added while monitoring registration. The participant list was then made private. This raised concerns that the event might be aiming for the 64+ tier without enough actual attendees. For context, even at SFactor, the biggest event in our country, we fell short of that tier after I correctly marked every DQ. When 64+ points were awarded by mistake, I immediately reported the error. That is the standard I have always held myself and our events to. Separately, a TO from northern Mexico contacted me to report that @LemusAlexanderF, Divine’s brother, had approached him about hosting dojos with fake participants. According to this TO, the requests included whether they could “not DQ people that don't show up” and whether they had photos of a full venue that could be submitted as attendance evidence. The TO told me he refused. I'm hoping Namco could accept the conversation as evidence but I remember something similar happened with @SergieMazter and Namco officials did not take action. I am sharing these concerns because they affect players who spend their own money and time competing honestly, and it affects the community reputation as a whole. As someone who has spent years organizing a large portion of Mexico’s tournaments, it hurts to have to speak about this within our own community. I care about our players and want to see them qualify, but it has to be earned FAIRLY.

So sad to read this about my own region. The truth is that there aren't a lot of players playing competitively in Mexico. The current TWT format just incentivizes this behavior. Regional qualifiers should be online like Street Fighter 6.

FIRESTARTER (KDA's latest EP) is... meh? Very safe music, not a lot of personality just some generic K-Pop stuff. Very disappointing compared to ALL OUT or even POP/STARS. I don't know, maybe I'm a little old to listen to K-Pop lol

Ninja Gaiden 4 mentioned. What if 5 is real guys?
Koei Tecmo revised their operating profit forecast to be 64.2% higher than previously expected. Koei Tecmo attributed this to strong sales of games released between April 2025 and March 2026. Launched games during this time frame included Pokemon Pokopia, Ninja Gaiden 4, Nioh 3 and Fatal Frame II Remake. Sales of older games were also strong. automaton-media.com/en/news/…

So Dead Space and Mass Effect will be lost media now? Sad because these two franchises were incredible and also helped me to define me as a gamer. I hope EA sells them.

Bioware was such a legendary developer. I remember playing Jade Empire on the original Xbox, that was my first contact with this company. Then Mass Effect changed everything. Rest in peace Bioware.

Thank you @platinumgames and @TeamNINJAStudio for creating Ninja Gaiden 4. I remember the hype of this game at launch. I had never been more excited to play a game probably since Skyward Sword in 2011. And the game delivered. Peak gaming 100%.
Today marks the 1-year anniversary of #NINJAGAIDEN4. The path of a ninja is never easy, and you’ve stayed with us every step. Thank you to all the Master Ninja that experienced this journey with us. #NINJAGAIDEN #YearoftheNinja

$1800 a videogame console. Guys, I might understand why some people just watch newer games on Youtube lol But seriously, consider buying a PC for that cost, even if it's DDR4 or older. You can run pretty much anyhing.
Xbox reportedly intends to release its next-generation console in 2028 Xbox reportedly projecting the console to cost $1,200 - $1,800, unless the company subsidizes some of the cost Source: Fortune Magazine
