There are a lot of things about the government that stress me out, but one thing that always gets to me is the obvious lack of empathy.
We’ve gone days without power supply. So many people have complained. But what do we see when we come online? The governor walking the runway.

I just need Nigerians to understand that ultimately, power resides with the people. But that power is only meaningful when we are willing to exercise it. One of the most fundamental ways to do that is by embracing our civic responsibility and showing up in our numbers to vote. We cannot keep surrendering that power through apathy and then wonder why things remain the way they are.

In January, we’re all going to cry either in joy or in despair. It is our duty to make sure that it is in joy.

You see this thing Peter Obi does, going into the hinterlands to hold town hall meetings? He actually did the same thing when he was Governor of Anambra State. And I’m not talking about campaign visits.
Every year, he visited towns across the state, at least one in every LGA, to hear directly from the people. He continued doing this even after winning his second term.
His wife, Margaret Obi, did the same with Anambra women. She visited all 177 towns in the state, holding town hall meetings to hear their concerns and understand their challenges. This had nothing to do with election campaigns.
I know this because my late Mum was the then Secretary of Ekwulobia Women Council (EWC). As a matter of fact, I was the one doing most of the secretarial work. I practically doubled as the de facto secretary of both EWC and Ụmụada Ekwulọbịa because the then President of Ụmụada Ekwulọbịa, Mrs. Ngozi Obeke, who was a close friend of my Mum, wouldn’t let me rest with writing letters and handling other correspondence. 😂
I actually enjoyed doing it back then.
Peter Obi was the same yesterday as he is today.
Peter Obi will not stop at the airport to address you people, talk about how there is no electricity at the airport, and then jet back to Abuja within ten minutes of addressing you.
Do you see how he is visiting all the states in Nigeria? This is a sign of a committed leader who holds the interests of Nigerians to heart and will not turn the UK and France into his second home.
Remember when Tinubu visited Jos following the deadly attacks in Plateau State? He met community representatives near the airport and reportedly told them, “You have no light here, I'll fly out in ten minutes.”
Nigerians, the ball is in your court.
Will you join the boat of prosperity and fight for your country's freedom from the hands of politicians who don't think you're worth their time, or will you fold your hands and endure more years of bad leadership under the APC?

I schooled in Onitsha High School, Onitsha. One morning, the principal Mrs Julie Ofoefuna informed us that Mr Peter Obi was coming to our school because the Senior Prefect called him and reported that the school building was at the verge of collapse which was true. We thought it was a joke because my school was one of the local schools then, we said” the governor has not finished visiting CKC, DMGS, St Charles, QRC”etc these are best schools then.
By 12:00pm that day, he landed with Dr Kay Onyechi the state commissioner of basic education, he inspected the school. He said he will return after two weeks. Two weeks passed we didn’t see him, we took his words as normal Nigeria politicians 😭😭😂.On the third week which was school closing period, he landed. He came like a thief, no motorcades or sirens blowing ” he apologized for coming after two weeks, he said when he learnt that the school was in exam period, he decided to wait but to come after exam. In the end, he gave more than enough for the school renovation. He asked us what we wanted for lunch, nobody could mention any reasonable food. He gave each student ₦100 for snacks.
As a governor of Anambra, every senior prefect in the state had a direct contact with Governor Peter Obi. Why? He wanted them to report what was wrong in their schools directly to him, if you call him, he would personally come and check it out. The man’s humility and simplicity is not performative. It’s really somehow that over a decade later he comes out to contest elections in the country and you’re seeing videos of him carrying his bags like he has always done and you’re calling it “performative and theatrics”. He’s not even doing it for you to applaud him. Baba is just being him.

Make it a habit of reminding yourself: “God has been good to me before, and He will be good to me again.”
Please no one should talk about Michaella like a victim. That woman is one tough cookie and just a little bit too male centred than I would like. I like her
#LoveIsBlind
SHE kept saying she was cool with them and acting like it. She was ribbing with them and happy they are accepted her.
I’m trying to understand how the producers allowed Michaella to be borderline sexually harassed by Rob’s belligerent friend for so long?! She tried to fight through the humiliation but that was TOO much #loveisblind #LoveIsBlindBoston
I do not understand what those people talk about in the pods because shouldn't they have known this about each other? Some are even talking about kids with so much vagueness, post engagement, that it is shocking
Aneha, girl!! Go get the lawyer or doctor your parents have offered you since being taken care of is so important🤦🏾♀️ #LoveIsBlind #LoveIsBlindS11
Michaella is a stronger woman than I am. There is no way in hell that I would go with or worse invite that wild man to go home together #LoveIsBlind
