I'm furious. Someone on TikTok stole my video, removed my watermark, gave me no credit, and let people think it was his work.
His repost got over 1 million views, while I, the actual creator, got just 8 likes.
I spent two years making this CG short film. He didn't just steal my work. He stole my recognition and potential opportunities.

One of my favorite things leading up to a big studio release is seeing the marketing for the movie everywhere in and around the studio itself.
Someone told me years ago that studios deliberately spend a lot of money advertising near their lots, and even along the routes their executives and studio heads take home, so they're constantly seeing their own movies promoted.
I've never verified that, but I've always loved the idea. LOL. And the psychology makes perfect sense.
Think about it. You've spent years developing, financing and making a movie, and suddenly you're seeing it on billboards, bus stops, everywhere you turn. That's what a major marketing campaign is designed to do. Create awareness, build momentum and make the movie feel like it's everywhere.
And if you're the executive responsible for getting that movie made, I imagine that's a pretty great feeling.
Anyway, seeing all the marketing for Disney's HEXED directly in and around Walt Disney Studios is awesome. It's one of those things about this business I've always loved, especially with @DMcIntyreWWE being part of the voice cast.
HEXED hits theaters November 25. Fingers crossed it does every bit as well as we all hope and believe it will.
Huge congratulations to @TheJaredBush and his entire team. Can't wait to see it!

I love it when a normal person somehow manages to pull off an effect that took Disney 20+ years to brainstorm

I think parks are learning the hard way that the maintenance bill will always come due.
You can try to cut it, defund it, etc.
But the bill will come.
You either pay for it now or pay for it later.

I thought the staff at Towers were miserable last week, but theyβre like the cast of Balamory compared to some of the staff at Thorpe Park today. Honestly Iβve never seen so much sighing, yawning or scowling at a theme park. Cheer up, seasons nearly over π

Thorpe Park was the main reason I renewed my Merlin Annual Pass, and whilst it hasnβt quite sunk to the levels of Alton Towers it is definitely not the great park it was anymore. You just get the feeling that no one cares anymore, a βthis will doβ trajectory all-round.

Iβm absolutely gutted at how terrible @thorpepark has been this weekend. It was my favourite theme park in the UK by a mile but itβs been so bad I doubt I will come back. Alton Towers was so much better last week, and I never thought Iβd say that.
