Anna Paulina Luna waits until after getting re-elected to say she isn’t going to take AIPAC money anymore.
Announcement:
I will no longer be taking corporate PAC money or any special interest money tied to foreign policy. This cycle, I was able to raise around $4 million this cycle with a large portion in small-dollar donations. I will be one of a handful of elected officials who will not take this money anymore, and I think that’s incredibly important for the American people.
More elected officials should do it, but campaign finance is a double-edged sword, and it can be incredibly expensive to run for office, so some are unable to do so at this point until they build up a bigger support base.
It is important to lead by example.

PRESS POOL UPDATE: CNN was scheduled for TV pool duty today, but the White House left CNN off the schedule last night. This is another escalation in Trump's disruption to the decades-long pool arrangement.
Here’s the context: In the wake of the court order halting Trump’s ban on CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House grounds, the administration tried a new approach, preventing CNN from fulfilling its travel pool responsibilities by barring the network’s reporters from Air Force One.
This led the news outlets to seek further relief from the court last week. Yesterday the news outlets followed up and filed for a preliminary injunction, as MS NOW’s @falgallagher reported (link below). A hearing has been scheduled for December 2.
Today, Trump is not scheduled to travel anywhere, so there is no travel pool. The White House left CNN off the in-town pool rotation. At the moment, Trump isn’t scheduled to hold any open press events. But if he does, there won’t be pooled TV coverage.
