No card, no checkout: AI agents went shopping at XDC Network’s Abu Dhabi build day
@XDCNetwork hosted “Unsupervised,” a build day at Abu Dhabi’s Hub71 tech hub, in partnership with the Middle East Stablecoin Association.
More than 200 attendees set up agent wallets on @XDC_SI and received $USDC credits, which their agents spent on coffee and merchandise from real merchants as well as services from other agents.
A relayer paid the network fees, so agents only spent USDC and never needed to hold xdce-crowd-sale:native. By the end of the day, the agents had moved more than $1,000 in total.

Real estate data coming onchain is a much bigger development for $PLI than it may look at first glance.
Plugin is expanding its decentralized data network with property pricing feeds for Dubai Marina, Geneva, and Zurich, bringing real world market data to $XDC.
The important part isn't simply having real estate numbers on a blockchain, It's what those numbers can enable.
RWA tokenization requires more than putting an asset into a smart contract.
Onchain applications need reliable external data to determine valuations, update collateral requirements, calculate NAV, trigger execution conditions, and support automated financial logic.
Blockchains cannot natively query off chain property markets. Oracle infrastructure provides that missing data layer.
• Dubai Marina apartment prices in AED/SQFT.
• Geneva median property sale prices in CHF/property.
• Zurich median asking prices in CHF/SQM.
These feeds create machine readable inputs that RWA applications can potentially consume programmatically.
That opens the door to use cases such as tokenized real estate, collateralized lending, portfolio valuation, risk models, automated settlement, and other financial primitives built around RWAs.
As tokenization expands across real estate, commodities, financial assets, and other markets, the ecosystem needs decentralized mechanisms for bringing verified external information into smart contract environments.
