Lewis Hamilton says Ferrari have to have serious talks after fighting between their two drivers cost them victory in the Mexico City Grand Prix ⚔️ Leclerc cut a chicane on the first lap to take the lead from Hamilton, who then lost second place to Max Verstappen as a consequence of his team-mate's attack.

Drake signed a $400 million deal with Universal Music. Two years later, a Universal label released a song calling him a "certified pedophile," and it did 96 million streams in 7 days, 5 Grammys and a Super Bowl show for 133 million people. He sued his own label, saying it gave Spotify a 30% discount to push the song. A judge threw the case out. On December 4, he gets one more shot. In the video below, Kendrick Lamar stands on the Super Bowl stage and says he'd play their favorite song, "but you know they love to sue." Insiders called Drake's deal "LeBron-sized." Variety put it near $400 million, with his music bringing Universal around $50 million a year. Kendrick is on Interscope. Interscope belongs to Universal too. "Not Like Us" dropped in May 2024. 12.8 million Spotify streams in a single day, a rap record. Over 1 billion streams. 53 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, the longest run ever for a rap song. The same week, Drake's own diss "Family Matters" debuted at number 7 with 38 million streams. Kendrick's debuted at number 1 with 70.9 million. Almost double. Drake says the accusation in the song is false. His filings claimed bots, paid radio play, a 30% cheaper Spotify license and even payments to Apple so Siri would steer users to the song. Universal denies all of it. Universal called the lawsuit an attack on creative freedom that never should have been filed. In October 2025 a federal judge agreed. She ruled the lyrics were trash talk from a rap battle, not facts anyone would take literally. Drake appealed. He still puts out his music through Universal. Universal paid Drake $400 million to make hits. It also got paid for the biggest hit ever made against him. Was Universal just doing business, or did Drake's own label cash in on destroying him?

The Bomas International Convention Centre had a cost variation from Kshs 31.7 billion to Kshs 45.85 billion. Talanta Stadium had a cost variation from Kshs 35 billion to Kshs 45.8 billion. The Rironi-Mau Summit Road had a cost variation from Kshs 150 billion (French) to Kshs 200 billion (Chinese) and an additional Kshs 7 billion severance fee for the French. And these are just three of many projects. "Variation" is the new looting. These people are truly shameless. I wonder why I'm saying "these people" instead of "this person".

Mariah Carey was reportedly paid $18 million to judge one season of American Idol. Nicki Minaj got a reported $12 million to sit at the same table. Months after it ended, Carey said it was like "going to work every day in hell with Satan." She added that she was "just playing." She didn't say who Satan was. In the video below, Minaj walks off the panel mid-fight with Carey, and Carey says: "That was my move." Then you see the tape from the same auditions that leaked months before Fox aired them, and Carey on Hot 97 in November 2013, saying the Satan line herself. Carey signed in July 2012. She later said she had expected "a three-person panel." Two months later, Fox added Minaj and Keith Urban. In October, that tape leaked. Minaj could be heard saying, "I'm gonna knock you out." Barbara Walters said Carey had hired extra security. Fox aired the fight in the video in January 2013. By May the show had its lowest ratings in 12 seasons, and Carey and Minaj both left. That November, on Hot 97, she said of the offer: "They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment, and I was just like, 'Okay.'" The case for Carey: she named no one. Nick Cannon, then her husband, said she was "talking about the situation in general." Carey's $18 million from 2012 is about $26 million today. Her Christmastime tour plays London's O2 on November 30. Minaj said in 2023 she would judge Idol again for $30 million. Would you spend a year in hell next to someone you can't stand for $18 million?

Porn star Christy Mack's ex, a UFC fighter, walked in at 3am and found her with another man. Over the next hours he broke 18 bones in her face, knocked out her teeth, sexually assaulted her and sawed off her hair with a knife. She's only alive because he went to the kitchen. In 2014 she was one of the biggest names in the adult industry, the girl covered in tattoos with millions of followers. Her boyfriend was Jon Koppenhaver, a former UFC fighter who had legally changed his name to War Machine. Their relationship was violent long before that night, and a few months earlier she had finally ended it and moved on. On August 8, 2014 he let himself into her Las Vegas home at around 3am and found her there with a friend. He attacked the friend first, who managed to run out of the house. Then he turned on her. She says the beating went on for hours. He broke her nose, knocked out her teeth, fractured her ribs and ruptured her liver. At one point he grabbed a knife, held it to her and started hacking off her hair. When he walked off to the kitchen, she ran. She went out the back door barefoot, climbed over the fence into the neighbor's yard and begged them to call the police. A few days later she posted photos of her face from the hospital bed on Twitter. Half the internet was horrified. The other half wrote that a porn star had it coming. War Machine went on the run for a week before police found him hiding in a motel in California. In 2017 a jury convicted him on 29 counts, including kidnapping and sexual assault. He was sentenced to life in prison, and he won't even be eligible for parole until he has served 36 years. She has had multiple surgeries and still lives with the damage to her face. She stepped away from the industry, and today she tells the story herself on podcasts. She survived because he decided to go get a knife instead of finishing what he started. Should a man who did this ever walk free again, or is 36 years before parole still too easy?
