Broadbased don't care if Kalonzo, Gachagua, Matiang'i or Karua have manifestos. But when it comes to Sifuna, suddenly everyone forcefully wants a 200 page agenda.

Joshua Baraka Responds to King Saha’s Advice that B’raka should put more energy on satisfying local market than chasing expensive international market that he won’t manage. “ Its sad that some of the people we are supposed to look up to have very shallow mindsets, They want to be kings of the pond, Me i want to be the king of an Ocean. I want to be a shark “ —Joshua Baraka

Every day Kenyas 🇰🇪 government shows us investors and business men how corrupt it is. Look at this level of “mismanagement”: 🇰🇪 BOMAS BILLIONS: WHAT ARE KENYANS PAYING FOR? The Bomas International Convention Complex raises serious questions about public procurement, spending and accountability. 💰 Earlier proposal: KSh31.7 BILLION 💰 Later reported project cost: KSh45.1 BILLION 🚨 Difference: KSh13.4 BILLION The Auditor-General confirms a KSh41.9B construction contract and found that direct-procurement approval was issued AFTER procurement proceedings had already begun. Parliament has demanded the contract and supporting documents. The @StandardKenya has now reported additional concerns involving: ▪️ KSh856.8M for design ▪️ KSh285.6M for security ▪️ KSh1.42B provisional allowance ▪️ KSh4.97B for import taxes ▪️ KSh3.56B presidential-area fit-out These amounts require verification against the full contract. Now consider the scale of KSh13.4 BILLION: 🏫 Approximately 13,400 classrooms at KSh1M each. 🛣️ Approximately 268 km of roads at an illustrative KSh50M/km. 🏥 Approximately 21 Level 4 hospitals at KSh629M each. These are hypothetical alternatives, not proof that KSh13.4B was lost or could be recovered. Kenya needs answers: Why did the project scope and price change? Where is the complete contract and bill of quantities? Who approved the procurement process? What has actually been paid? Which additional costs are justified by documented work? What revenue and public benefits will the convention centre generate? A major convention centre may have economic value. But its costs must withstand independent scrutiny. Publish the contract. Reconcile the figures. Show the payments. Prove value for taxpayers. Sources: Auditor-General, Ministry of Defence FY2024/25; The Standard, 2 November 2026; parliamentary oversight reporting.
How they used the long contract to steal and conceal massive theft of billions from the Bomas project; ♦️ A secret contract. 390 pages. Parliament has demanded it for months. The Ministry of Defence refused to table it. Now @StandardKenya has it. ♦️ The Bomas convention complex was approved at Sh31.7bn in 2023. It's now Sh45.1bn. ♦️ That's a Sh13bn jump. No ministry has publicly explained it. ♦️ Look at the "Add Sums":
✅3% for design: Sh856.8m
✅1% for security: Sh285.6m
✅5% provisional sum: Sh1.42bn ♦️ Total: Sh2.57bn. None of it is tied to steel, concrete or labour. Procurement experts call it a corruption allowance. ♦️ Then there's a flat Sh4.97bn for import taxes. No actual customs assessments. ♦️ Add Sh3.56bn for the presidential area fit-out. And Sh18.1m for termite prevention. ♦️ The Auditor-General says direct procurement was approved on Feb 17, 2025, while a tender process was still ongoing. ♦️ Kenyans have a right to know how their money is spent @EACCKenya

Over Sh13 billion was added to the cost of the Bomas project, increasing it from Sh31.7 billion to Sh45.1 billion without explanation. Here is how in the thread below:

BREAKING: Netanyahu is 'pressing Trump to strike Iran immediately after the midterm elections on Tuesday', according to Axios report.

Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

MACHINE GUN KELLY pulled KELLY KAY out of Logan Paul's party and fUck€d her A$$ standing up on the back of Logan's G-Wagon without lube 💀. She walked straight back into the party like nothing happened. Two days later, the Haemorrhoid showed up and years later she says she still carries the cream. Her message to MGK is brutal. It happened at the 100th episode party of Logan's podcast, Impulsive. She'd recorded voice bits for their soundboard, so they invited her. She didn't really know anyone there. The guest that day? MGK. Nobody had planned anything. After the show it turned into a party at Logan's house. MGK pulled her outside. He had one text he always sent her when he wanted her to come over. She says it was their version of "Netflix and chill." That night there was no bed. Just the back of Logan Paul's G-Wagon, standing up. Then she walked straight back into the party. A couple of days later the hemorrhoid showed up. She says she still carries the cream with her. "I love you, but you f*cked up my a*shole for life." Why did she go along with it? "I liked it because he liked it. I'll kind of do anything for my man."
