IMO STATE: OUR CONVERSATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE PEOPLE CONTINUE Our conversations and engagement with the people continued yesterday, 31st October 2026, as we journeyed from Yenagoa to Owerri, Imo State, for another edition of our ongoing town hall meeting series. Upon arrival, I began with a visit to one of the markets in Owerri, where I interacted with traders, buyers and other residents. Their stories and experiences offered yet another sobering reminder of how difficult life has become for ordinary Nigerians under the harsh economic policies of this administration. In my remarks at the town hall meeting, I reminded the good people of Imo State that, after more than three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not considered it necessary to spend even one night in Imo State, despite spending over 260 days abroad. Meanwhile, his administration has accumulated enormous debts without delivering commensurate improvements in the lives of Nigerians. Our country is now ranked among the hungriest nations in the world, with over 140 million people living in multidimensional poverty. To compound this crisis, Nigeria remains one of the most terrorised countries in the world, while approximately 18 million children are out of school. I reassured the people of Imo State that all hope is not lost. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and I are committed to securing and uniting our country, making massive investments in critical sectors such as health and education, and lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty. Among the leading contenders, we believe we possess the experience, competence, capacity, commitment and readiness required to undertake the difficult but necessary task of turning Nigeria around. During the interactive session, questions were also raised about the protection of our votes. I encouraged our people to come out in their numbers, exercise their democratic rights and, more importantly, remain vigilant and stay with their votes until the final results are declared. I sincerely thank our teeming supporters, party candidates, party members, organisers and, most importantly, the good people of Imo State for their warmth, enthusiasm and overwhelming support. The journey to a new Nigeria is a collective responsibility. Together, we can build a country that works for everyone. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

Imagine looting the money reserved for students or creating a fake agency under Peter Obi. You will regret the day you ever thought of making that decision. This is why the corrupt politicians in power do not want him in power. But, Nigerians, I need you all to know that our collective strength is greater than that of those who do not want Obi to win. Together, we shall remove those who have sworn never to let Nigeria shine. And the only tool you need to make this possible is your voter's card.
I’m ashamed to tell the story of how he demoted my uncle from Principal to Primary 3 school teacher for eating students’ WAEC money. He came to the family compound to ask him if he’s mad.😩🤭. It didn’t stop there, he was dismissed on voluntary retirement and all the money he

Fellow young Nigerians and well-meaning citizens, Let us reject disinformation meant to weaken our mobilisation or turn us against the electoral process. Not everyone at INEC is opposed to a free and fair election. We must not make the Commission an enemy or direct harm toward its officials. Capable professionals, the party, and the Presidential Campaign Council are already engaging INEC constructively. Trust the leadership handling these matters. We must also stay alert. Some interests within the APC government appear eager to force unnecessary ICT procurements on the Commission and may use public pressure for that purpose. Do not fall into that trap. Let those best placed to handle institutional engagement do so, while we focus on the decisive work of the people. The Osun elections have been an eye-opener: the more voters we bring out, the harder it becomes for anyone to rig the outcome. Nearly 50 million undecided voters remain open to persuasion. Take our message to every community, campus, and market where our opponents struggle to reach. Present our candidate, promote the party’s logo, and bring out new voters who have never participated before. Young Nigerians, we especially urge you to present yourselves to be polling agents and Vanguards at all levels. Your presence at the polling units is one of the strongest protections of the people’s will. To INEC, we say: Nigeria needs free, fair, and credible elections. We encourage you to succeed in that duty and stand ready to support every effort that strengthens the integrity of the process. Stay focused. Organize. Mobilize. Vote and protect your votes like your life depends on it. Surely, our lives depend on it. High turnout and disciplined participation remain our strongest path to victory. Together, we will secure the future Nigeria deserves. Signed, Mallam Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim Director-General National Campaign Council Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) #VoteNDC #NigeriaWillBeOK

BAYELSA STATE: WARM CONGRATULATIONS TO SENATOR HENRY SERIAKE DICKSON Yesterday, 30th October 2026, I travelled from Enugu to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, to attend the homecoming ceremony honouring my dear brother and our Party’s National Leader, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, while continuing our engagement with the people. During the grand event, I reminded the good people of Bayelsa State that, after more than three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not considered it appropriate to spend even one night in Bayelsa State, despite spending over 260 days abroad. I assured our numerous supporters and the people of Bayelsa State that this will not happen under my leadership. I will visit Bayelsa to hear directly from our people and respond to their concerns. In Bayelsa, I pledged that we would begin efforts to upgrade ports throughout the Niger Delta, including those in Warri, Port Harcourt, and Calabar. We will also begin construction of the long-delayed Ibaka seaport in Akwa Ibom State and establish a new port in Bayelsa State to serve our riverine communities and the broader Niger Delta more effectively. I reaffirmed our commitment to unite and secure the country, fight corruption, and make substantial investments in healthcare and education while lifting our people out of poverty. The visit concluded with my joining Senator Seriake Dickson, for a traditional canoe war game and boat regatta in his hometown of Toru-Orua, Sagbama Local Government Area. I congratulate my dear brother, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, on his successful return home. I appreciate our party’s national and state leadership, members as well as the good people of Bayelsa for good organisation, warm reception and successful event. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK!. -PO

Peter Obi will not stop at the airport to address you people, talk about how there is no electricity at the airport, and then jet back to Abuja within ten minutes of addressing you. Do you see how he is visiting all the states in Nigeria? This is a sign of a committed leader who holds the interests of Nigerians to heart and will not turn the UK and France into his second home. Remember when Tinubu visited Jos following the deadly attacks in Plateau State? He met community representatives near the airport and reportedly told them, “You have no light here, I'll fly out in ten minutes.” Nigerians, the ball is in your court. Will you join the boat of prosperity and fight for your country's freedom from the hands of politicians who don't think you're worth their time, or will you fold your hands and endure more years of bad leadership under the APC?

BAYELSA IN PICTURES The downpour that greeted us today in Yenagoa upon our arrival for the OK Town Hall meeting and the homecoming of our National Leader is a testament that; behind the cloudy skies lies a ray of hope for a better and working Nigeria. These times may rank among the darkest in the annals of our history, yet we continue to urge our people not to lose hope. With Obi and Kwankwaso, a new horizon is rising. Keep the faith and trust the process.✌🏾

ENUGU STATE: LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE AND BUILDING A UNITED NIGERIA Following yesterday’s (29th October) town hall meeting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, I proceeded to Enugu State, where we held another town hall meeting as part of our ongoing nationwide engagement. I was joined by my brother and Vice Presidential Candidate of our party, the NDC, His Excellency, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. In Enugu, we met with our teeming supporters and enthusiastic citizens who lined the streets and besieged the venue in their numbers. In our conversations, including the contributions from our Vice Presidential Candidate and me, we reiterated our commitment to uniting and securing the country, tackling corruption, massively investing in critical areas of development, particularly health and education, and pulling our people out of poverty. Shortly before the town hall event, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and I met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Enugu Chapter, where we reaffirmed our commitment to national unity, religious harmony and peaceful coexistence. Leadership must be about listening to the people. Those seeking to lead must understand what Nigerians need and be willing to receive feedback on the impact of government policies and decisions. I thank our teeming supporters, party members and organisers for their dedication and commitment. I also thank the good people of Enugu State for their warm reception. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

RE: SENATOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA’S REMARKS ON PETER OBI’S SINGLE-TERM COVENANT We have reviewed Senator Rochas Okorocha’s comments on Channels Television’s *Politics Today*. We accept his description of Peter Obi as “a fantastic gentleman; clear in his head.” On the claim that a single term is “a four-year gambling,” we respectfully disagree. Section 135(2) of the 1999 Constitution provides that a President shall leave office after four years and may seek a further four years. In law, “may” is permissive, not mandatory. A single term is therefore constitutional. It is not a gamble. Nigeria already tested an eight-year tenure between 2015 and 2023. The result was rising inflation, a weakened naira, soaring public debt, widespread poverty, and insecurity across the country. That is the real balance sheet of prolonged tenure without performance. Peter Obi’s offer is a performance bond, not a gamble. He has pledged to serve one term, to be judged strictly by results, and to hand over power in 2031 in recognition that it is the turn of the North. This is sacrifice for national stability. Leadership is measured by impact, not duration. Nigeria’s problem has never been insufficient time. It has been the repeated failure to use time well. Mr. Obi proposes to reverse that culture: one term dedicated entirely to delivery. When a man entitled to eight years voluntarily chooses four and invites the nation to judge him by results, he is not gambling. He is sacrificing. This is not a gamble. It is a rescue mission with a deadline. Signed, Mallam Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim Director-General National Campaign Council Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) #VoteNDC #NigeriaWillBeOK

EBONYI STATE: SECURITY, CORRUPTION, NATIONAL UNITY AND THE DIGNITY OF EVERY NIGERIAN My grassroots sensitisation tour brought me to Ebonyi, the Salt State, today, 29th October 2026, following yesterday’s visit to Akwanga, Nasarawa State, as our nationwide Town Hall Series continues. In Ebonyi, I made a stop at Nkalagu and Ezillo to greet and acknowledge our supporters and briefly visited the market in Ezillo, where I interacted with our hardworking women who trade and bring farm produce to market. In Abakaliki, I joined our party supporters on a road walk to the venue of our town hall meeting. At the town hall, participants raised concerns about insecurity, particularly kidnapping and banditry; corruption; government borrowing; and the deteriorating condition of our hospitals, schools, and other essential amenities. The most touching contribution came from a participant representing persons living with disabilities, who spoke about the challenges they face and the apparent lack of adequate support from government and society. I assured the participants that, upon election, our foremost priorities will be to unite the country, decisively tackle insecurity and confront corruption, while pulling our people out of poverty. To our brothers and sisters living with disabilities, I reiterated that the compassion of a nation is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable citizens. We will work with state governments to ensure their inclusion, proper care and dignity. We will also invest massively in education and healthcare, including at least one fully functional primary healthcare centre in every political ward across Nigeria, while working to reduce the cost of living and expand opportunities for all. I sincerely thank the participants, our party members, the organisers and the good people of Ebonyi State for their warm reception, enthusiasm and active participation. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

A great wind of change is coming to Nigeria, and the corrupt politicians in power can feel it. They know business won’t be as usual under Peter Obi, and that is why they are fighting him. They can scheme all they want, but the gospel truth is you can't beat a man who has an indomitable spirit. Peter Obi is coming, and he is coming fast!!!
