Police are investigating after shots were fired on 15th Street N in Arlington, Virginia 🔫
Arlington County Police were called out the area at around 12:30am after residents reported hearing several shots fired in the area.
Officers arrived to find 9mm shellcasing(s) on 15th Street N at N Inglewood Street. No injuries have been reported as of now.
A silver sedan was seen passing through the area at the time of the shooting, however there is no official lookout as of now... #NoVa

That's the sentence for a man who brutally stabbed a blind dog trapped inside a crate and repeatedly punched another defenseless dog.
Georvell Brown, 33, of D.C., was sentenced today after pleading guilty to felony animal cruelty and four other offenses.
Prosecutors say Brown stabbed Queenie, a blind pit bull, in the mouth with two large knives while she was trapped and unable to escape. He also repeatedly punched a Yorkie named Prada. Three children were inside the home during the attacks.
Queenie suffered severe injuries and required emergency veterinary care.
Brown was also convicted of assaulting and threatening to kill a stranger at the Fort Totten Metro station and driving drunk in a crash that sent another motorist to the hospital.
Prosecutors asked for the maximum one-year sentence for animal cruelty. The judge imposed six months in prison.
@JudgeJeanine called the sentence unacceptable, saying D.C. must stop treating animal cruelty as a minor offense.

A person has been found shot inside of the Modera H Street apartment building on H Street NE in Washington DC 🔫
DC Police and Fire & EMS were called out to the 1700 block of H Street NE for the shooting at around 8:53pm.
Officers arrived to find a person on the fourth floor with a gunshot wound to the upper thigh. The victim has since been taken to a trauma center.
There’s no lookout for the suspect at this time. #DCCrime

Police are investigating a robbery by a large group of kids inside of the CVS on the 3300 block of North Glebe Road in Arlington 🚨
A group of ten to fifteen juveniles reportedly entered the store, assaulted an employee, and stole items at around 9:50pm. The battered employee could be seen walking out of the store with police, visibly distraught.
Arlington County Police currently have several juveniles detained at the Bank of America off of S Monroe Street, while officers work to confirm if they are related to the robbery.
Further details are limited due to police radio encryption; the juveniles have been kept off video due to their age.
