NUCLEAR COMES TO LUXEMBOURG 🇱🇺
Today we partnered with @LetzAtom to host the first nuclear event in the nation’s history. Individuals and organizations from 5 countries joined us in William’s Plaza where our booth was part of the Saturday farmers market. We engaged with young families, grandparents, and couples and were so pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome.
We can’t wait to do it again ⚛️❤️

BREAKING IN NYC: WORLD'S BIGGEST BANKS PLEDGE SUPPORT FOR NUCLEAR
Banks and funds totaling $14 TRILLION in assets have just signed an unprecedented statement in support of nuclear power.
They'll be presenting the pledge to support the goal of tripling nuclear THIS MORNING at the Rockefeller Center in New York City to kick off NY Climate Week.
A few of the names:
Bank of America
Barclays
BNP Paribas
Brookfield
Citi
Credit Agricole
Goldman Sachs
Morgan Stanley
Rothschild & Co
The pledge comes after Microsoft signs deal to buy $16 billion in electricity from a revived Three Mile Island nuclear plant alone over 20 years to fuel its AI ambitions.
I'll be covering live today from the top of the Rockefeller Center, famously built with oil profits, as this unprecedented show of support for the next great energy source overcomes long-held financing barriers.

The European Commission rallies behind nuclear’s role in clean energy transition - will member states follow suit?
The shift towards nuclear acceptance at the strategic, EU Commission level has created an environment for policymakers in member states to consider nuclear and/or further its deployment.
But in this new social and political environment, will Portugal take the opportunity to explore nuclear’s role in their energy system?
Help us start the conversation in Lisbon on September 14th!
PORTUGAL STAND UP FOR NUCLEAR ⚛️
Although Portugal receives over half of its electricity from renewables (solar, wind, hydro), the country imports around 20% of its supply, some of which is nuclear energy from their neighbor Spain!
Nuclear energy is a 24/7 baseload clean energy source that can replace fossil fuels 1 to 1.
Now is the time to restart the nuclear conversation in Portugal. Join us and our allies @NuclearVisionPT at our demonstration on September 14th in Rossio, Lisbon!
