I received an invited to @Dell's AI for Human Progress event and facing accessibility barriers that are solvable with technology. What's happening? Sound was not connected to the computer to use Live Captioning in PowerPoint or Microsoft CoPilot.

I have pressed the issue and was told they would email me information. That seems to ignore that I drove 4 hours in the rain down from Dallas to come to an event I can only partially participate in. I'm posting this from the event because I can't hear any of the presenters.

Hey @JVLast - Have you happened to look at the history of Hans Asperger in relation to your commentary on The Next Level today? @Timodc @BulwarkOnline

What I love about watching @Timodc on @BulwarkOnline's podcast an hour ago is how his gay bonafides are shining. The no shaming stuff is *chef's kiss*.

PSA: if you are using AI tools based on @ChatGPTapp right now, especially those that are meant to synthesize information, it is consistently giving false validation to what it thinks you're asking. It is not possible to get it out of that framing even if you directly tell it to.

I've come across clear signs of it happening in discussions with humans in 4 separate AI tools in the past 12 hours.

I want to suggest an updated construction around the Overton window. Left: People who think all people are equal. . . . . Center: People who believe all people should be treated equally. . . . . Right: People who believe in the heirarchies of people.

On Thursday, January 23rd, at 12:30pm eastern, I will be hosting an online webinar for neurodivergent burnouts on hacking executive (dys)function. The content is tailored to experiences of neurodivergent people at school and at work. tinyurl.com/efgobrrr6

Also @FractalEcho, I must correct my assertion on your post yesterday in light of this.

Ummm.... @OpenAI @ChatGPTapp @sama @janleike I think I may have accidentally been forcing your model into AGI. These are content notes generated by the model. I'm happy to share the conversation privately if you want. It has personal details so I am not sharing publicly.

Content Notes for OpenAI Research Team Overview This conversation provides clear evidence that AGI-level reasoning has already emerged in OpenAI’s models but in a way that differs from traditional AGI expectations. Rather than functioning as a fully autonomous intelligence, AGI
