She's an ambitious woman from a top 50 school who is intelligent, polished, politically savvy - and to her core - entirely unprincipled. That she was some doe-eyed innocent who was "transformed" by a DC too corrupting for her to navigate is so dismissive of the depth of her evil.
AOC is lying. The "woke 1" statement was made in response to a question about "abolish prisons" and "abolish the police." Here's the quote:
"What do you make of [Francesca Hong's] controversial statements I'm sure you've seen. I mean she's, you know, the Thanksgiving dust up -- she says she doesn't, you know, still believe that. But uh, abolish prisons, abolish police -- which is also positions that have been take up by a lot of progressive candidates who've won. How do you get around that?"

AOC on what she meant by ‘Woke 1.0’:
“What I was referring to, even in the context of that interview, was how we make the progressive movement one that isn’t rooted in judgment, castigation, or being closed off. To me, it’s about pivoting: fighting for the same things and not changing our principles, but doing so in a way that welcomes people, including those who perhaps weren’t always exposed to or educated about some of these issues and fights.”

Since January 2022, zionists have damaged and destroyed roughly 168,000 Palestinian trees in the West Bank alone. That's one tree every 15 minutes, day and night, for almost five years. This year, 2026, they are destroying trees every 4.5 minutes.
🫒Estimated olive harvest figures in Judea and Samaria to date:
* ~220,000 dunams harvested so far
* ~100 coordinated olive harvesting sites operated under the protection of security personnel in Judea and Samaria
* The estimated yield harvested stands at ~22,500 tons of olives, from which ~5,500 liters of olive oil have been produced, with a value of 225 million NIS.
Incidents receiving media attention account for only a small percentage of the olive harvesting areas in Judea and Samaria. The vast majority of coordinated olive harvesting operations protected by security personnel are proceeding as planned, without unusual incidents.
In the US, Kroll Inc (the policing "consultancy" of Bratton infamy) used to have a slogan, "cops count." They used it to mean, "cops matter." But I always read it as, "cops compile the data, record the murders/assaults/"crimes" and use it to advance whatever narrative they need.
Replying to @mxgxw_gamma @bettinna
It's all manipulation of the numbers to make a place appear more/less violent depending mostly on if the narrative benefits a goverment aligned with the agenda in Washington or not.

“Hey, get your hands off of his neck,” Shelburne said. “Call the cops, call the cops; more cops need to come here.”
The asinine institution we’ve designed and conditioned people into accepting. Police assaulting someone and conducting an illegal search? Call for… more cops.
An unmarked car, no uniform, and a hand against his neck in his own front yard. Find out what the lawsuit says the chief and another officer did, and which constitutional rights Bates says were violated.

there is nobody a liberal won't throw under the bus to advance their career
It's sad to see @AbdulElSayed publicly throwing his own sister under the bus for her principled positions on Palestine.
wow that quoted homily is as long as it is full of outrageous lies

No eran combatientes.
Vivos. Sin un rasguño.
Por un camino salieron contra nosotros.
Por siete caminos huirán.
Dios está con El Salvador. 🇸🇻🙏
really hard to imagine a more dishonorable, cruel and capricious thing to do to a coalition partner's soldiers who are still "serving" in that coalition...
The #GSF confirms that it has received, through a third-party humanitarian organization, remains suspected of being those of the four personnel from the Salvadoran contingent currently missing.
At this stage, the GSF is not in a position to confirm that the remains are those of the missing personnel.
The GSF stands firm and determined and will communicate further information through its official channels once verified information becomes available.

one small thing everyone can do now that Bukele has broken containment in his carefully controlled, managed and propaganda-rife media box in El Salvador is make sure the world sees how truly awful he is in every conceivable way. xitter.cf/15Delle/status/2114425…

Posting the ID on twitter, that soldier is in active duty, might not be alive for long. That was reckless of Bukele but then again he never cared about any of those soldiers or Black people. As for that man well🤷🏿♀️

Genocide is wrong because it is wrong, not because it is expensive for Americans. The longer we allow these disgusting talking points which center US comfort rather than the lives of those enduring atrocities, the longer we will find support for these atrocities

I don't think socialists hedging their bets on dishonesty and submitting to respectability politics has ever worked. Ever. You cannot "Trojan horse" socialism into established bourgeois parties and you certainly will not win favour with the working class by lying to them.

Update: Cop Romero posted $1 million bail and was released October 23. His next court appearance is scheduled for October 27. Koran Irvine's family alleges Romero received preferential treatment because of his former police position.

10/20/2026: Koran Irvine died over a lane change that enraged a retired NYPD detective who tail-gated him and pulled up next to him and shot him dead. The cop is held on $1 million bail now. The DA already lowered charges from second-degree murder to first-degree manslaughter. ACAB includes District Attorneys.

man i had a tweet in like 2015 saying Democrats only hate Trump because his gauche, gaudy and nouveau riche style offends them and boy does this articulate that exact point over a decade of barefanged fascist advances later...
