📣Discovery Alert!📣 An international team used two @NASA space telescopes (TESS & Spitzer) to find a new world around a cinder of a star. WD 1856 b is even bigger than the white dwarf star it orbits and its very existence is a surprise – and a mystery. go.nasa.gov/3hBWSpV

I am researching an editorial on how scientists are using twitter. If you are willing to answer a few questions for me (via email, think 10-20 minutes total), please respond in the comments! I'm hoping to get feedback from a diverse group of at least 20 scientists.

CAUTION: Bi's in Sci may be more visible during this time than we normally appear. I celebrate #BiInSci day for like 3 days and use time difference in Australia as my excuse. Not sorry. P.S. This purple jumpsuit and blue hair is no culture. It just is.

Universities are so much better positioned to deliver online learning than schools because we’ve been doing it for years. Perhaps academics could help schools out if need be? Particularly if they’re new to things like Canvas or Blackboard. Anyway, offer is open for me.

Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science! I never really felt like I didn't fit in as a Physicist but a lot of people can't be what they can't see, so let's work together to show young women that they can be whatever they want to be! #WomenInScience #WomenInSTEM
