We honor you, Mummy. The work you did was not in vain, it never will be. On your deathbed you asked if they would remember, I assured you that they would never forget. As long as Toluwani and I are here they will never forget. #covenantuniversityat20

Damn... this story hits heavy. She asked him to stop initiating, he actually listened for *sixteen months*, no pressure, no sneaking, nothing. And then one day he’s like “yeah I’m done living like roommates.” The quiet part is what gets me. He wasn’t yelling or cheating or making threats. He just slowly checked out while still showing up for the kid and the laundry. That’s the scary part is when the fighting stops because one person already left in their head. Sixteen months of “I’ll tell you when I’m ready” with no timeline is a long time to keep hoping the connection comes back. You can’t take one of the biggest parts of marriage off the table indefinitely and act surprised when the other person eventually walks. Painful story. Real one though.

🗣️ Gary Neville: "The Glazers have to sell Manchester United now." 🗣️ Roy Keane: "How did the Glazers get involved in the first place?" Neville: "We know that Roy..." Roy Keane: "There's a HORSE involved in this! No one wants to talk about the horse. Can we talk about the horse? The horse is KEY!" 😭😭 For new fans who don't know: Man United's downfall started because of a HORSE named Rock of Gibraltar. Sir Alex Ferguson and Irish billionaire John Magnier co-owned the horse. They had a fallout over who owned the horse and its breeding rights. Magnier owned shares in Man United. To get back at Fergie, he sold his shares to the Glazers. The Glazers then used THAT to buy United with DEBT. £600m+ debt loaded on the club. Hundreds of millions in debt. From 2005 till today. One horse destroyed the biggest club in the world. 🤯 And Neville doesn't want to talk about it... Do you think Man United will ever recover while the Glazers are still there?

Why do people hate what they don’t understand? 💀 Imagine saying this with your full chest and no shame: “I don’t work, this is my brand!” 😂 What’s your take on this debate? Let's hear your thoughts. C & Q ✍️🏾 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒖𝒔 - 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒖𝒔. 𝑮𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒚.

This is why we listen to experts (or should): Not everything that seems or sounds logical, necessarily is. The easy solutions you find on Facebook or at your Weatherspoon pub, are gut feeling, not fact. You might not like expert advice, but reality beats 'common sense'.

I HATED Steven Gerrard the Player. HATED him. But the great thing about shows like @WeAreTheOverlap is that you get to see the human side and he’s a decent fella. Absolutely spot on about Bruno Fernandes.

🚨WATCH THIS: @SkyKaveh absolutely DESTROYS Sir Jim Ratcliffe LIVE on @SkySportsNews last night: “I’m going to tell you who’s to blame for this situation at the moment. The person to blame is Jim Ratcliffe. He bought the club almost three years ago. He bought 29% of it when the Glazer family put the club up for sale. He didn’t buy the whole club; he only bought 29% of it. And by buying 29%, it meant that the Glazers stayed in place and Jim Ratcliffe got to run the football operations.” That’s the original sin. He didn’t clean house. He just propped up the Glazers. Then the arrogance of the man who thought he knew better: “He’s come in and he’s said, ‘I know better than anyone else how to run this club. We’re going to do things my way.’ And look what it’s turned out to be over the past two and a half years.” The managerial mess followed immediately: “First of all, he said, ‘I’m going to back Erik ten Hag. We’ve been chopping and changing managers too much.’ Then he went off and started meeting Thomas Tuchel and any other manager who was available behind Erik ten Hag’s back.” “When they couldn’t find somebody else, they gave Ten Hag a new contract and money to spend. A couple of games later, Ten Hag loses his job.” “In the middle of the season, they beg Ruben Amorim to come to United. He doesn’t even want to go there in the middle of the season; he wants to wait until the summer. They pay a fortune to get him, even though he plays three at the back, a totally different kind of football.” “Dan Ashworth doesn’t want him. Dan Ashworth leaves, Ruben Amorim comes in, and they go all in on Ruben Amorim. That doesn’t work out. They get rid of him.” “They bring in Carrick as an interim. Okay, results are better. Then they give him the full-time job.” And then the transfer policy that locked the club into mediocrity: “In the meantime, Ratcliffe has come in and said, ‘We’re going to do things my way. No player is going to get paid 250, 300 grand a week here anymore. That’s not going to happen. We’re not going to sign any players for more than 60, 70 million pounds.’ So Mateus Fernandes, Elliot Anderson, Harry Kane, Declan Rice, all these players, we ain’t going to be signing them. And also, we’re only going to be signing players with Premier League experience. And we’re going to sign forwards one window, then the following summer we’re just going to sign midfielders, then next summer we’re just going to sign defenders.’ So this is Jim Ratcliffe’s way of doing things. So he is to blame for this situation.” #MUFC
