$INSM: This is my favorite biotech company right now. They have 3 late stage and early commercial drugs in the Lung space. They also seem to have a very strong management team. I always bet on them to deliver and they do. Their first drug is Arikayce for MAC lung disease. It is approved in 2nd line. They submitted the sNDA for 1st line and should see approval in mid 2027. That should triple the size of the market potential. Their second drug is Brinsupri which went commercial last year for Bronchiectasis. This is a huge indication with no other approved drugs. This could easily do $7 billion or more in revenues at peak. The sales have been very strong. TPIP is their 3rd drug in late stage development for PAH, PH-ILD, IPF and PPF. The PK and PD of their prodrug in trepronstinil suggest best in class drug for these indication. This could be another big group of indications for $5 to $7 billion peak sales. Their early pipeline continues to focus on expanding and improving applications for DPP1 while expanding from lungs into Inflammation. They are also developing an early gene therapy platform. The company should be profitable in 2027. This is one of the few companies I think could reach the $20 billion revenues level someday.

Three key leading indicators that preceded the bursting of the Dot Com bubble in 1999... 1) Record supply of new IPOs 2) Sharp rise in oil prices 3) Sharp rise in interest rates Guess how many of the boxes we've checked in 2026?

I hate how lately I can’t seem to avoid seeing AI writing. I hate how everyone is suddenly writing in THAT cadence. I hate how people have collectively relinquished their personal voices. Writing is thinking, and much of the human race has abandoned its ability to think.

AI won’t erase the gap between people. YouTube, Coursera, and Internet made world-class knowledge free. Most people still chose TikTok. AI is no different. Everyone gets Claude Code, Codex, and ChatGPT. The best will use them better and compound faster. AI isn’t an equalizer. It’s a multiplier.

Friends, the problem of statistics is that even if they worked (they don't), whatever is derived statistically ONLY applies to groups never to single individuals. You are not hiring a subcontinent, but a single individual. Variance determines the max.

A lot of telecom investors thought owning fiber optic cables was the biggest moat in the internet era WorldCom company owned 300,000 miles of networking cable that controlled half of all global internet traffic Global Crossing built one of the largest subsea networks that connected 27 countries and 200+ cities across four continents Anyone remember how those stories ended?
One thing I think people keep missing is that two things can be true at the same time. 1/Compute is absolutely one of the biggest moats in AI. If you don’t have access to enough GPUs, power, networking and datacenter capacity, you’re simply not playing the same game. 2/You can still lose your shirt building that moat. The internet is a good analogy. Fiber was one of the most important technologies ever built. Without it, there’s no cloud, no YouTube, no Netflix… But a lot of the companies that financed and laid the fiber generated terrible returns. The infrastructure created enormous value, but much of that value was captured by everyone using it, not necessarily by the people who built it. The interesting thing today is that the hyperscalers are trying to avoid repeating that mistake. They’re increasingly funding their capex with long-term customer commitments before the infrastructure even comes online. But it’s the AI labs buying that compute that ultimately have to make the economics work. They’re betting their models stay at the frontier long enough to maintain pricing power and high margins. Those margins are what they’ll use to pay for the massive compute commitments they’re signing today. If frontier models become commoditized, that equation gets much harder. Compute is still a moat, but that doesn’t automatically translate into great returns. Compute is essential. Great unit economics are not guaranteed. The real question isn’t whether AI needs more compute but It’s who actually captures the value created by all this infrastructure?
