I’m a lifelong Republican. voted for Trump 4 times. But, thanks to high gas & grocery prices, corruption & inflation, I feel I was sold a lie. They said no new wars; we’re at war. They said $2/gallon gas; it’s $10. So today, I voted Democrat across the ticket here in Texas.

Based on county-level early in-person voting updates, Republicans appear to have taken the lead in total Florida ballots cast by party registration, a lead they are unlikely to relinquish. The electorate was R+12 in 2024, so the question is how close they can get to that level.
