On a panel with @Benioff - CEO of Salesforce and Philanthropist, with his wife Lynne Benioff, focusing on Ocean Sustainability, Ms. @andersen_inger, Executive Director of @UNEP, Ms. Razan Al Mubarak, President of @IUCN. Explaining the Fisheries Agreement in more detail and talking about how to support SIDS and Small Coastal States to tap into the $2.6 trillion per annum blue economy, so they can trade more and develop more. Also pushed again the issue of repurposing almost $2 trillion in distortionary and wasteful subsidies that could go towards supporting the oceans biodiversity and climate change. The panel was chaired by H.E Minister Marina Silva, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Brazil and H.E Minister Stavros Papastavrou, Minister of the Environment and Energy of Greece. Moderated by Mr. Kristian Teleki, CEO, Flora & Fauna and also had the participation of H.E President Moetai Brotherson, President of French Polynesia, Mr. @PdeMenocal, President of @WHOI and Mr. Tiago Pitta e Cuñha, CEO of @OceanoAzulF.
