The United States is sanctioning Rwanda's Ministry of Defense and Zigama Credit and Savings Society for supporting armed groups in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It's worth mentioning that the Ethiopian AF is very familiar with the Flanker, matter of fact, their successful use of the Su-27 against Eritrea made it one of the most successful air-superiority fighters in African combat history.
It would be ironic if Ethiopia ends up receiving Su-35s originally intended for Egypt. Widely reported that 25 were produced, with nine reportedly delivered to Algeria. Any information on the status of the remaining aircraft?

Here are the Ethiopian Air Force's 🇪🇹 first two Sukhoi Su-35 multirole fighter jets, bearing tail numbers 2552 and 2551, reportedly delivered today as part of a 12-aircraft order announced during PM Abiy Ahmed's visit to Russia 🇷🇺.
On the sidelines of the Russia–Africa Summit, Ethiopia has announced a major arms deal with Moscow, bringing forward delivery of 12 Su-35 fighter jets by a year and securing four batteries of the S-400 air defence system.

The #GSF confirms that it has received, through a third-party humanitarian organization, remains suspected of being those of the four personnel from the Salvadoran contingent currently missing.
At this stage, the GSF is not in a position to confirm that the remains are those of the missing personnel.
The GSF stands firm and determined and will communicate further information through its official channels once verified information becomes available.

The Nigerian Air Force has just announced the acquisition of 12x TUSAŞ Aksungur UCAVs from Turkey.
With a 24m wingspan, a payload capacity exceeding 750 kg and endurance of up to 50 hours, this huge drone can conduct day and night surveillance, gather intelligence and carry out precision strikes with guided munitions.
Nigeria will join operators including Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and, here in Africa, Chad, Angola and Niger.

It's like I said before. African countries approaching middle income more and more will complain and berate the less fortunate.
This won't just stop with SAns against Zimbabweans or Kenyans against Somalis, soon it'll be Zambians against Congolese and Burundians. Lmao.
Outside politics Kenya is remarkably cohesive given how different the ethnic groups are because there's little competing ethno-nationalism on history, norms and customs, religion, claims to a distinct homeland etc. This is the biggest difference a country like 🇰🇪 has to the HoA.
