Next up on my proof of concept. Taking a note from PoN, I created a replica Pet Customizer that allows virus pets to make use of some programs and also change their element based on it. I think it looks great. @k1rbyat1na did the MagmaStage coding and @DarkwarePX432 the aura

Hi, today i’m back with custom content in @OpenNetBattle, based on the party system from MMBN5 (NDS).I’ve dubbed it the "Buddy System" at the start of each turn he do a random action to help you out, buddys has 3 attacks that scales with one of the player stats (Atk,Spd or Chrg)

Terrible code. Here's a better implementation from RAD Debugger that:
1. Allocates *once*
2. Converts *once*
3. Doesn't copy
4. Handles edge cases elegantly
5. Doesn't have C++ bs

So on today's episode of "I have an idea, let's see if it works in @OpenNetBattle" I decided to mess with the possibility of having a style change system and make it work as an MMORPG. Result is: completely doable. I can change the sprite on supported players, too.
(1/2) How to download mods on android 🧵👇
Replying to @TheTwosdayCoder @OpenNetBattle
I hid it as a little Easter egg. To access it, press and hold L + R for 3 seconds until you hear a small sound effect. Then you should see a mod downloader in the config menu, it'll fetch the latest released mods and place them where they belong automatically after downloading
cool!
It's not perfect but now I can draw battle chips on screen 😁
This should make it a bit easier to visualize chips you gain via quests

If you never cared about the code, you never were a software engineer.
Imagine a mathematician saying, "I never cared about math", or a basketball player saying, "I never cared about basketball, just the score."

Being a senior developer is just being the person who remembers why we don't do that.
The future is today! 😀
The android app also has a mod download screen where you can easily download and install mods from onb.keristero.com/mods! Thank you Keristero for helping me test drive the mod tool to make your mod site! Thank you Shadisnx for integrating the mod site API calls into the app!
Thanks to everyone's inputs on the Android port of @OpenNetBattle , I'm really happy how it turned out. It even has native controller support which is fantastic. I just have to optimize the online server code to be a little more forgiving now with Android. onb.frameskip.net/

A forum for ONB is in the works but it will take time. (There's so much to code!)
If you need help downloading mods, join the discord community for now. There's really helpful and wicked smart people there!
I need more Bass chips. Here's a new one for @OpenNetBattle, where Bass combines Gospel claws (BassGS fight) with DarkSword (BN6 Darkness PA, with some BassAnly effects). Claws crack and break panels and target the last two columns, but if one is fully yours, you get two hits.

Hello everyone! Today, @OpenNetBattle receives another official netnavi as a playable character, and i’ve already coded his abilities. Coldman is now a playable character, thanks to @CaseoftheMatts work on the sprites. I hope you enjoy the final result.
I'd like to give another shout-out to @k1rbyat1na. Most game-accurate enemies are made by him! Likely you've encountered them in battles online. That's his excellent work! What's a game without content? ONB wouldn't be the same without him! #shoutout #collaboration #gamedev
