🌺 WE WILL REMEMBER THEM 🌺 Today, we pause to remember the millions of animals who have served, suffered and lost their lives in wars and conflicts around the world. We remember the horses, donkeys and mules who carried soldiers and supplies; the dogs who searched, guarded and comforted; the pigeons who carried vital messages—and every animal caught in the devastation of war. They served without choice, asked for nothing and gave everything. Today’s Animals in War Memorial Service, organised by Petplan Charitable Trust, will take place at the Animals in War Memorial in London. War Paws will be represented by Frances Evans and Helen Yates, who will lay wreaths for War Paws and RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in remembrance of the animals affected by war. Fran will also deliver a short speech on behalf of War Paws, honouring those who served in past conflicts and those who continue to suffer in conflicts around the world today.
