Everyone hates it when I point out that
- systematic trading is hard
- you can’t prompt your way to a profitable strategy unless you already know what you’re doing
- most people capable of making a success of it for their own account would do much better getting a job at a good trading firm instead
But this is literally the highest value thing I do in this site. Every person who takes my advice is hundreds of hours and tens of thousands of dollars saved!

I tested 1,800 Bollinger Bands breakout strategies on E-mini NASDAQ.
One setup stood out.
- Lower band as the point of initiation
- ATR for the space
- Monday only
- End-of-day exit
The winning candidate used a 1.8 ATR multiplier.
Neighboring values performed similarly well.
It was not a single optimized peak.
Walk-forward ranked the 1.8 multiplier at the top.
- Robustness index: 86%
- Protective stop triggered only about 4.2% of the time
Cross-checked on other index futures.
The edge held in the most recent three to four years across them.
The band touch is not the trade.
The breakout confirmation is.

Highlight aja ya:
1. Temen sekolah ku ada yang jadi korban kerusuhan. Ditemukan terbakar ber3 bersama adik dan mamanya dalam lemari.
2. Rumahku dijadikan pengungsian temen2 kantor mama yang ga bisa pulang. Akomodasi kurang. 1 single bed bisa diisi 3 orang dewasa.
3. Hari ke tiga makanan lauk abis di rumah untung ada tukang bakso jualan.
3A. Temen kantor mama orang manado ada yang memberanikan diri pulang. Di jalan disetop massa mau ditel@nj@ngi karena disangka cina. Dia sampe keluarin KTP buat nunjukin punya fam Manado.
5. Saya melayat temen saya tadi sengaja naek motor ga pake helm jadinya. Nunjukin kulit gelap rambut keriting biar ga disangka cina. Lewatin salemba senen matraman yang masih bau asap
