My thoughts are with everybody who has been affected by the terrible incident that took place at CFB Wainwright in Alberta last night, including members of our armed forces and the heroic first responders on the scene.
As Canadians, let’s come together to support our brave men and women in uniform, who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms and our country. Ontario stands ready to help the recovery efforts however we can.

As Canada stares down tariffs and economic uncertainty, our plan to protect Ontario is working.
In April, Ontario led the country in job creation, adding 42,400 new jobs, including 8,700 new manufacturing jobs. That’s 680 per cent more jobs added than the United States last month, adjusted for population.
With a target on our economy, we can’t let up. We’ll keep lowering costs for families and businesses, cutting red tape, speeding up approvals, training workers, securing investments and creating better jobs with bigger paycheques. That’s how we protect Ontario.
