restricting Starlink without warning while Ukrainians are fighting for their lives is such a dirty move. this isn’t some fucking game.

When Ukraine destroys Russian data centers, hoards of aggressive right-wing bots disappear, and Twitter becomes much friendlier. Isn’t that interesting? So much of our politics is driven by the internet, and so much of the internet is driven by Russians who want to hurt us. Shouldn’t we do something about that, given that we know it?

Who knew Ukraine's defenders could even debotify the internet?
Well, I guess we did 😌
Gone too far with what?
Elon Musk backed Donald Trump’s call for leadership change in Kyiv, saying that Volodymyr Zelensky has "gone too far."
Musk commented on video of Trump claiming Zelensky refused multiple opportunities to reach a negotiated peace deal with Russia.

Kellogg turns against Trump. Former US special envoy for Ukraine, retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, says Ukraine should continue striking Russian oil refineries. “This is war. They are attacking correctly,” he said, backing Kyiv’s continued campaign against Russian refining infrastructure. #Ukraine

I have a question to ask all honorable Republicans.
You KNOW that America disarmed Ukraine of our nuclear weapons and delivery systems.
YOUR nation disarmed us so russia could attack us.
You made this mess. Without you taking away our weapons, this war would never have happened.
Helping to clean it the mess you made was the honorable thing to do.
---
But Trump refused to do so...
...and you KNOW that he HAS MADE EVERY EFFORT TO HAND UKRAINE TO RUSSIA WITHOUT A FIGHT!!!!
This is betrayal.
He has betrayed us. He has betrayed America's honor.
AND HE HAS BETRAYED YOU!!!
---
Trump has betrayed Ukraine.
The US disarmed us. Leaving us WIDE OPEN to russia.
There's an 'honor debt' there.
As honorable people yourselves, don't you agree there's an honor debt there?
Trump has betrayed that.
AMERICA HAS BEEN DISHONORED.
Now I want to know what YOU, as honorable people, are going to do about this?
Trump has betrayed America's honor - so what are YOU going to do to retain YOUR honor?
Not just America's honor. Your own honor - personally.
What will you do to retain that?
I'm not making ANY suggestions.
The ball is in your court.
Play it better than the last two times.
Think of honor.
Think of doing the right thing.
For the sake of all the world.
And for the sake of ALL our children.

❗️Zelensky told the Financial Times that Ukrainian intelligence intercepted information indicating Putin ordered Russian forces in September to intensify attacks on civilian infrastructure. “He said: now there are no rules,” Zelensky said, recounting the intercepted information. According to Zelensky, Russia subsequently stepped up attacks on Kyiv, including strikes against schools, hospitals, telecommunications infrastructure and data centers. #Ukraine

Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland have become among Ukraine's strongest partners by doing more than just donating weapons.

This wasn’t our train, but the one just minutes after us by the 🇵🇱 border crossing. It was evacuated as the 🇷🇺 drone approached and no one was hurt. Very good safety system. Our train just had an evacuation warning but could proceed to Dorohusk. The 🇷🇺 attacks against 🇺🇦 are intensifying.

With Saudi oil now blockaded, Americans are about to discover why maintaining stability in the Middle East and not handing it to a consortium of Russia and Iran was always important.
Walking through every step of Trump's actions in Iran, it almost seems like a wishlist drafted in the Kremlin.
- Start a war with Iran that drives up oil prices
-Take sanctions off Russia long enough to allow 180 million barrels of unpurchased floating crude oil to be sold at high prices
- Burn up US interceptor stockpile with no plan for mass production
- Cut off Ukraine's supply
- Refuse to aid Saudi Arabia as Houthis blockade Bab el-Mandeb Strait
Next up - $200/barrel oil and take sanctions off Russia as solution.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

Kyiv now looks like this every single day. There are smoke stacks 24/7
It’s a major European capital bigger than Paris and being terrorised every day.

More and more Russian missiles attacking Kyiv.
Ballistic, Tsirkon, Iskander missiles, drones - Russia cannot achieve its goals on the frontlines so it's just using pure terror on Ukrainian civilians.

Horrific ! And Elon Musk won't accept Starlink use against targets in Russia because it would "escalate the conflict". It will anyway!

Today, many were shocked by yet another video of the drone “safari” Russians are carrying out against civilians in Kherson. A Russian drone deliberately hunted down a man selling vegetables and detonated right next to him. The Russians even admitted to the crime, showing zero regret and openly boasting about tormenting people. The man was wounded in the blast. Every single day, ordinary people in Kherson face these Russian "safaris."
The world must see this. It must see every piece of evidence that Russia has gone mad and that its soldiers take pleasure in killing and abusing civilians. Without pressure on Russia, the dismantling of its capacity for aggression, and real security guarantees, it is simply impossible to imagine the world being able to coexist with this evil. We must remain resolute in defending life. We must act and support life in ways that force Russia to seriously think about peace rather than expanding the range of its drones.
This is not just about Ukraine. Russia’s campaign against human life must be stopped here in Ukraine before it spreads further. Finland and Kazakhstan, the Baltic states and Poland, the countries of the South Caucasus, Romania, and Moldova—all should work together to ensure real security guarantees and bring Russia’s war to an end. Peace is needed, which requires cooperation among everyone in the world who truly values peace. Thank you to everyone standing with Ukraine!
