• Improved UI/UX, with a cleaner and more polished experience.
• Bug fixes informed by real-world usage during the Proof of Privacy campaign and Zcash Ghana residency.
• More testing and improvements underway ahead of a wider rollout.
The goal is simple: make it easier for communities to launch programs, engage members and manage their activities on Gleyo.

Отличный повод переслушать «The Ceremony» от Radiolab и вспомнить, как всё начиналось.
28 октября 2016 года запущена сеть #Zcash.
Протокол, лежащий в её основе продолжает совершенствоваться каждый год. Большинство этого не замечает или не осознаёт, но я вижу, что Zcash растёт и улучшается. Хотя седьмой год, на мой взгляд, стал самым сложным испытанием для всех: ➡️
для разработчиков и людей, кто вынужден был покинуть проект; однозначно для всех, измученных тревогой держателей, - для всего сообщества в целом.
Было много непростых бесед. Однако, я не вижу ни одного фактора, который бы заставил меня поверить в тупиковую ситуацию. Просто период временных сложностей, который мы сообща преодолеваем. Это время не было растрачено, и в этот период Zcash получал максимальные технические улучшения, которые пригодятся ему в следующих этапах развития.
Главное, что Zcash унаследовал от Bitcoin - это его действительная децентрализация, а значит и высокая выживаемость. Последователей огромное количество. Сколько я общаюсь с разными людьми - все они проходили примерно один и тот же путь: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, Monero.. и конечная цель у каждого - конфиденциальное цифровое платёжное средство. Большинство понимает, что это не быстрый проект, поэтому терпения никому из них не занимать. Zcash имеет фундаментальный подход к строительству и лидеры команд разработчиков смотрят далеко вперёд. Многие из них ощущают ответственность за будущее этой технологии и выбрали её, чтобы заниматься всю жизнь только этим проектом, потому что он имеет принципиальную важность для свободы общества. Об этом мы говорим постоянно, я не буду сегодня повторяться.
Теперь про $ZEC. По моему глубокому убеждению, с точки зрения математики и экономической теории всё самое сложное у монеты уже позади. Я уже не особо расчерчиваю графики, но предполагаю, что настоящий ренессанс токена сети произойдёт ориентировочно в 2025 году, при условии, что все запланированные внедрения (гибридный PoS, #ZcashZSA, ZSF будут внедрены). У нас может быть множество других интересных и востребованных вещей при наличии фонда развития, если он будет поддержан сообществом. Всё в наших руках.
И про приложение к данному посту.
Я прогнал через нейросеть старое радиошоу, которое уже неразрывно связано с Zcash. Получилось довольно не плохо наложить перевод на постановочные звуковые сцены. Необходимость доверенной настройки, из-за которой потребовалась эта церемония к счастью уже в прошлом. Никакие потенциально возможные происшествия не привели к лишней эмиссии и мы это знаем наверняка. И послушать это шоу прикольно. Это часть истории проекта.

Demex announced that it is closing its platform following the bridge exploit on September 25. 😢🔒
The team stated that it can no longer ensure the required level of security for a decentralized exchange (which requires a well-funded team that can continuously defend against new threats), so it has decided to shut down the platform and return funds while it is still possible. 💰✅
They will top up the losses from the exploit as needed, and all accounts will be automatically settled based on the balances and prices at the moment the chain was halted. 📊

The Galactic Mining Club has announced the suspension of its mining operations due to the prolonged market downturn and rising hosting costs, which are no longer covered by mining revenues. The hardware will be sold, with proceeds distributed to stakers through a weekly #WalkOfClaims. Upon completion of all hardware sales, the remaining treasury funds will be distributed to stakers together with the NFT backing. Attention Miners,
Galactic Mining Council wishes to advise that due to the extended market downturn, we have come to an impasse, as mining is not sufficiently covering hosting fees and as a result, we have been unable to meet our obligations related to ongoing staking rewards and project growth. In addition, the turbulent nature within Cosmos in recent months, with numerous hacks and exploits that have affected the underlying value of various bridged and wrapped assets is a significant concern, as any hack could potentially erase tens of thousands of dollars in GMC holdings that belong to you. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to unwind mining activity to ensure we don't default on signed contracts and avoid potential loss of value through exploits.
What does this mean for our community? Primarily, this means that as hosting contracts expire, we will look to sell hardware on the secondary market to recoup some of those costs. The first of these rigs had their contract expire September 30, and there are two more that will expire over the next 3-4 months. Proceeds from hardware sales will be divided into equal portions ($100 each) and distributed to stakers on a weekly basis, returning to a weekly #WalkofClaims for the time being. This will allow remaining rigs to build a backlog of BTC as we can allow it to accumulate until contracts expire. Once all rig sales are finalized, remaining treasury funds will be distributed to stakers, along with NFT backing in one massive distribution.
It is vital if you hold GMC NFTs to stake them to ensure you get your share of the treasury. We will ensure announcements are made about a timeline for these distributions in the future with plenty of notice, along with an overview of total treasury funds to be distributed.
We are deeply saddened to have arrived at this point, and attempted to explore all possible avenues prior to making this decision. We appreciate each and every miner who has been on this ride with us since our launch in 2024, and are proud of the amazing collection created by IBC Mafia, and the community that has grown around it. 🫡

Один Z15 Pro даёт 840 kSol/s, значит 9 000 машин это 7,56 GSol/s.
Если грубо пересчитать $100 млн по той же цене, получаем ≈28 570 Z15 Pro, то есть ≈24 GSol/s.
Для сравнения: текущий хэшрейт всей сети #Zcash – около 30,8 GSol/s.
Важный момент: Z15 Pro основан на технологии примерно 2020 года. Новое поколение ASIC, очевидно, должно быть заметно производительнее.
