I also found @HDSentinel today! Purchased a Pro license and have it setup and am using it also on my drive assessment/data recovery computer, and color me impressed so far!

So I found @hddscan today! It's free hard drive diagnostics software for RAID arrays, servers, Flash USB and SSD drives. It can test storage devices for errors, show S.M.A.R.T. attributes and change some HDD parameters such as AAM, APM, etc. 🥳🙌🔥

Today silly shenanigans:
- PHP2shell, leak, bad stuff
- Something about Railway?
- The number 4 is a valid cert
- NodeJS and something about broccoli?
- LiteLLM supply chain attack
- GitLab CVSS 10
- OpenCode leaking API keys
What does this all mean? Idk
- Both ProxMox clusters are up to date and clean (10 f'n systems total)
- Everything Docker related is updated and being monitored
- Both my work and home TrueNAS servers are up to date and clean; all apps up-to-date as well.
- My Ubuntu servers are updated and clean
- GitHub repos are audited and clean
- Both of my Ubiquiti network IPS' for my home and for work (Intrusion Prevention Systems) are stopping a metric ton of attacks on both of my servers though!!
I use commercial networking equipment and pay for advanced security features for those devices, and luckily that seems to be stopping everything being attempted and probes being made.
But I could not imagine having affected infrastructure, and NOT having these kinds of defenses in place...
If you host ANYTHING update and audit ASAP.
Do NOT wait.
Do not think "Oh I will be fine, this couldn't affect me; I'm too small of a target".
AI automated attacks don't care if you are a worthy target; they just attack.
You could wake up tomorrow morning and your hosted sites and or Services could be completely turned upside down.
Attacks happen all of the time, but they increase in effort and quantity when they know you aren't paying attention; such as when you are asleep. So I always double check everything before calling it a night.
Even though I did everything that I did tonight, I'm still going to be watching my systems like a hawk for the next few months.
