Patrick Stewart spent his final years with a wife 38 years younger after two marriages he openly called his biggest regrets. He married Sheila Falconer in 1966, had two kids, then admitted affairs including one with a Star Trek co-star that helped end the marriage after 24 years. The second marriage to Wendy Neuss lasted only three years and again involved infidelity. In his memoir he didn’t hide from it — he said both failed marriages were his fault. Then in 2008 he met singer Sunny Ozell at a restaurant while doing Macbeth. They married in 2013 when he was 73, Ian McKellen officiated, and she stayed with him through the Alzheimer’s and Lewy body dementia until he died on October 28. Even with that peace he still said his relationship with his own children never recovered. Some people see the age gap and the pattern and call it messy.
