This list is looking great! I'm honoured to have a project that's included :) Excited for next year.
Working on/know of innovative initiatives in scientific publishing? Maybe seems a fantasy to others but just might work? We're bringing together innovators, early adopters, & builders in a meeting next year but want to get a lay of the land. Tell us here! tinyurl.com/4t8ar9w6

I remember when @afni_pt first displayed some results like this to me. I was captivated by it. Really glad to see this written up and out in the wild!
I also discovered it on my PaperPlayer podcast too :)

Academic publishing is often perceived as slow, bureaucratic, and exclusive. What eLife is doing is interesting, novel, and controversial. I'm supportive and excited that someone is finally trying this experiment at scale. The future of academic publishing is looking exciting :)
To say I am proud of this important move in service of science and all of the resolute people @elife who worked *tirelessly* to make it happen is a massive understatement

This thread has some really great advice for keeping up with scientific literature. Our @PaperPlayerNews preprint podcasts are perfect for skimming while multi-tasking (level 0 understanding). I think full 🎧 audio papers 📃 will be great for busy academics in the future

This is a milestone for us! I'm super excited that we are delivering so much audio content. I personally listen to my feed of papers on Spotify while making coffee in the morning, walking the dog, and sometimes while commuting.
