She told us she’s here to vote with her mother and that she still believes Democrats will win the majority, “It's the people's day. I asked if given the backlash she’s receiving from her Rogers endorsement, whether she feels it was worth it and she told me “Absolutely. Voting is always worth it, right?”

Gay rights activists literally did this. They swallowed doma in exchange for FDA funding for aids research & medication, they ate DADT to not get fired from jobs. Obama famously was against gay marriage in 08, they didn’t pout, they remembered the bigger picture & got favorable scotus seats under both Dem admins

Maybe I'll get a lot of hate for this, but I feel like the support Dems have for the trans community has not been appreciated. I don't know if it's the algorithms, the radicalization, or the dumbing down of history, but it's like the trans community is deliberately misinforming themselves as to what the Dems platform is, and what Biden did for the trans community.
Look, maybe it's not my place to tell a community how to feel about their rights, but I still do not get it. What trans civil rights, precisely, do the Dems not defend? What part of the GOP, not the Dems, whipping up a fear mongering culture war about trans people do they not understand?
Trans voter to @AOC: Trans people in America feel like they've been abandoned by the Democratic Party, that we are a losing issue, that it's not worth defending us. What do you say to that?
