“Lenten ys come with love to toune” is a 14th c. Middle English poem written by Anon whose speaker wanders, lonely in springtime, crying about how every creature has a mate but for himself.
Middle English poets loved embedding ironies within ironies, so it would have been a sign of his undue preoccupation with sex that at the arrival of Lent, he’s fixed on the animals making merry with their mates.
Further, after setting up comparisons between blooming nature, vibrant and lovely animals, and his own desolation, in the final stanza (below) he decides on the worm (a symbol of humility before God in the Psalms,) an image he sets against, or below, the women who grow wondrously proud.
Medievals glorified holy celibacy as an ideal, but made mocking lyric out of one who would say,
“Moody ones complain, and yet do more —
I know, for I am one of those —
Of love that hardly pleases.”
We do grow horns, although not just from the accumulation of knowledge, but how knowledge is understood and put to use, potentiated into being. Gurdjieff describes horns as the sign of one’s gradation of Reason.

Women cannot object to what they are voluntarily filming, producing, and distributing. To do so is hypocrisy. Women frequently claim their ability to make porn is female liberation, agency, and empowerment, while simultaneously objecting to it because it hinders women’s attempts to starve men of sex, thereby amplifying the power they feel when they weaponize sex against men.
If women want porn abolished, they cannot merely object to it. They must commit to publicly shaming every member of the sisterhood who spreads her legs in front of a camera, in the most hostile manner possible, so that it instills fear in other women who do not want to be shamed. AND they must shame other married women who weaponize sex against their husbands and deny them sex.

The earliest known Ouroboros is in Egypt, on one of the gilded shrines of Tutankhamun (14th century BC), where serpents with their tails in their mouths encircle a mysterious figure in a funerary text about the Sun's journey through the underworld. The circle protects what is inside it while it is being renewed.
