18 new weapons-grade parenting tips 1/ Talk to them like adults: early and always 2/ Let them be bored 3/ Your energy is the house’s vibe. It all starts with YOU 4/ Never make them finish their food “Try a bite” works better and builds their palate over time 5/ If something isn’t optional, don’t ask Example: “Do you want to go to bed?” vs. “It’s time for bed” 6/ Say yes more than no (especially as they get older) 7/ Never complain about work or chores “Work sucks” or “I hate dishes” builds the wrong mindset 8/ “You GET to,” not “you HAVE to” Ingrain this language into your being… and theirs 9/ Ask better questions “How was your day?” becomes “What’s something that made you smile today?” 10/ When they share something tricky, don’t solve it immediately Say: “I’m so glad you’re telling me this. I believe you” 11/ Never say “Don’t tell Mom” Parenting is a team sport. Kids thrive on unity and consistency 12/ 1 hour of 100% focus beats 4 hours of half-hearted attention with your children 13/ Make your home the neighborhood epicenter Watch their growth, witness team play, feed hungry teens! 14/ Do that lemonade stand They learn business; you make memories 15/ Rethink the airport: “Kids, navigate us to Gate C15” They’ll develop leadership and teamwork (just get there early 😆) 16/ Share some challenges (age appropriate) Show them setbacks aren’t avoided… they’re solved 17/ Make Xmas & birthdays about time together, not stuff 18/ Never wish away time...because the good times are happening right now

If you steward your property, they will too. If you go into debt to buy things to impress others, they will too. If you handle money responsibly, they will too. If you save, invest, and budget, they will too. More is caught than taught. They are watching. They are mimicking... Stop trying to teach them. SHOW them!
If you put your phone down when they talk, they will too If you apologize when you're wrong, they will too If you speak kindly about their mother, they will too If you work out, they will too If you finish what you start, they will too Kids don't follow your advice….they follow YOU

We have a Tesla Y on order and delivery keeps getting delayed. I showed my wife the Roadster flying demo and said, “let’s cancel and wait for this!” She thought it was an AI deep fake. And then she said, “if we are gonna spend money on that id rather have their robot that cooks and cleans” 🤣

When I first looked into my son’s eyes, I didn’t realize that it was possible to love someone so powerfully. Then I met my daughter, and I learned that the love in your heart doesn’t divide, it expands. Life before kids was grayscale; now every bunny she chases is in color.

Met a father this weekend who told me his grown children are as different as can be. Daughter is married, trad life. Son is anti-marriage and vegan. He wasn’t judgemental, loves them both.

And if you are an AI scammer in an offshore call center, you get bombed.
Strong liability enforcement could be helpful in the AI debate. If your agent swarm goes rogue, you’re liable. If your weakly protected model gets jailbroken, you’re liable. If you serve a weakly protected OSS model, you’re liable.

This big black guy w dread locks was standing in front of the grocery store entrance staring at his phone. He’s holding it so his arms are bent 90 degrees. Guy has a tennis ball for a bicep. As I pass, he looks up momentarily to orient himself and go into the store. I say, “excuse me sir, you can’t take guns into the grocery store.” For a slight second I thought what if he takes it the wrong way? 🤣 but my vibe was right and we had a good laugh and I made his day

Like, not to be mean or condescending, but YOUNG SINGLE CHRISTIAN MEN, The "guys" spreading all the ANTI-MARRIAGE, women are all trash, never get married rhetoric online are this....... "Nice fantasy tale that there are great wives." Simply put, again not being mean, but I'm sure great women just ignore "frog blobs" like this his whole life - it's easier for him to hate & blame women than to admit he's the problem. There are hoards of these online. It's almost like men's algos today are intentionally anti-women & women's are intentionally anti-men. There are plenty of REAL DUDES that show receipts, stay fit & healthy, lead their families to health, lead their families spiritually, lead awesome adventures, keep pursuing their wives & know it's PEAK MASCULINE LIFE leading a family, loving one amazing woman, & building a legacy with her. "Get married. Have children. Build a legacy. Pass down your values. Pursue the eternal. Seek true joy." -Charlie Kirk Which way western man? Frog blob or the leader God created you to be?! Other examples of great men leading awesome families to follow: @ZubyMusic @bennyjohnson @dustinthedad @SahilBloom @realpeteyb123 @theonenicka @PaternalLegacy @CliftonSellers @zkosturos @zachhomol_ @georgehayworth @Gabepluguez @AJA_Cortes @ZackStrength @Brian_The_Stoic @Dr__JE @BigT_Broncos @meathead_prof @getstrongwmatt @BlackLabelAdvsr @MarcLobliner @flabbytofit99 @tobi_emonts @theryanjamesmil @ChroniclesNate @ryanstephens @CraigBrockie @zmueller223 @MikeSchiff_ @billwolfe And many more!!!! God leads you so you can lead them! Nothing will save our society more than strong men leading locked in families.

Don’t read idiotic takes on red pills, white pills, and men vs women. Read this instead
People who obsess over who’s in charge have no understanding of leadership. It’s not about authority and power. I’m the head of our household. In 29 years of marriage, that’s the first time I’ve referred to myself that way. And I’ve asserted that authority exactly once (when I moved the family to Boulder). The other 99.999% of the time, my role looks like serving and providing. My wife and daughters come first. They know my priorities, so they trust me to make decisions on behalf of the family. If we’re split between first class and coach, I take the coach seat. It’s a signal. And it’s no sacrifice. The joy of seeing my daughter sit in first class in a cow suit is far greater than the discomfort of cramming my 6’3” frame into steerage. Wouldn’t it be great to have someone who’s dedicated their life to making yours better? That’s what a “head of household” is. My wife wants nothing to do with that role—and I want nothing to do with hers. That’s the whole point of marriage. One plus one should equal more than two. If you frequently find yourself “overruling” your family, you’re not a leader… you’re a tyrant. Everyone wants the title, few want the responsibility. The greatest model of leadership in history didn't rule from a throne. He washed feet.

Bill, this story broke my heart. The team at Oura is with you, Neri, and your family. We share your grief and sorrow, and everyone on the Oura team was deeply moved by your willingness to share your family's story. I am glad that the insights from Lucy's Oura Ring were able to give you and your family information that helped inform her care. I wish we had been able to predict or detect what happened. I keep coming back to the question of whether Oura could have seen anything that might have helped and then alerted Lucy. I’ve asked our team to launch an effort to understand how we might have been able to detect this and am hopeful that, together, we can learn something that makes a difference for people and families facing catastrophic medical events. We're here and eager to be helpful, now and in the future.

Perhaps the most important thing you can do as a parent is to love and treat your children equally
My wife & I created a trust & our will this week. We got asked a question that made me FREAKING ANGRY & flabbergasted....... "Do you want your two adopted sons to EQUALLY INHERIT your land & assets or your biological daughter would get it all or more?" WHAT?!?! What?!?! OUR 3 CHILDREN WILL EQUALLY inherit 1/3 of our assets. Obviously. Our lawyer said she needed to ask because it's somewhat common for adopted kids to not get as much....... I'm just gonna say this, If you adopt children & don't treat them AS YOUR CHILDREN then you shouldn't be allowed to adopt children. My sons are MY SONS. I love them with everything I have. I love all my children with everything I have. Blew me away & also made me incredibly sad......

It’s because everyone feels crime more viscerally. Bums in the street that threaten others, the constant scammer calls and phishing emails, the stories that get buried by the media. A lot of these don’t get counted because they don’t turn into a definitive crime or people don’t report them. Everyone knows someone impacted. Attempted crime and low trust behavior are rising higher and until we take decisive and definitive action against criminals, it will keep rising just like perception
People’s perception of crime levels is not accurate. “Crime rates in the US have been mostly decreasing since the 1990s. But most people feel like crime is increasing, even when it’s not.” — @a_m_mastroianni

I prefer my wife w no make up. Also right after a work out…sweaty, full of color. She doesn’t believe me but it’s true.
This is what you'll get in the morning when she's got bedhead, and is in her pajamas cooking breakfast Guys who freak out whenever they see a woman in her natural state aren't capable of love

You drop your kid off at someone’s house...do you wait to pull away in the car until they’ve entered the house? Even when I drop off one of my children at a safe place or a friend’s house, I always wait. My daughter is 15, yet she still peeks back right before she leaves my sight. She knows I care and that I’m there to protect her.

Kids can persevere through hard life when circumstances are actually hard. Sick parent. Caring for younger siblings. Poverty. Real challenges. What they often can’t handle is fake hardship: performative school, manufactured pressure for stuff they sense is BS
