Sunday afternoon check-in.
Where are you right now? Resting, recharging, or already planning Monday?
For me, rest isn't wasted time. It's where clarity shows up.
Be still, and know that I am God. Ps 46:10
What's one thing you're doing to slow down today?
If your distribution only works when you work, you haven’t built an asset. You’ve built another job.
A founder can drive plenty of growth through personal relationships, daily posts, and constant follow-up.
But if nobody can explain where demand comes from or what keeps it moving, that growth is hard to repeat and easy to lose.
I look for three things:
1. Can we trace it?
Not just “this lead came from a referral.”
Who made the referral? What prompted it? Did that buyer close, stay, and refer someone else?
Track the path to a good customer, not just the first click.
2. Can we remove the chasing?
Keep the human conversation. Automate the handoffs.
A partner makes an introduction. The lead gets logged. An owner gets assigned. Follow-up gets scheduled. The partner gets an update.
None of that should depend on the founder remembering it at 9 p.m.
3. Can we improve it?
Compare sources by customer quality, cost, and time to close.
Ten trusted partners who bring buyers who stay may be worth more than an audience of 100,000 that rarely buys.
But you won’t know if all you measure is reach.
The point is not to automate trust.
It’s to build a system that protects trust, shows what works, and lets the team repeat it without you.
Distribution becomes an asset when the relationships stay human, but the results stop depending on your memory.
Before you build, pause.
Bring your next decision before God.
The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26
Build With God.
Most founders start Sunday by checking their numbers.
Try this instead.
Worship first. Family second. Business third.
"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Ps 118:24
Order matters. Get it right today and the rest of the week follows.
Build With God.
Good morning, Founders.
Before the inbox. Before the plans. Before the noise.
Start with God.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." Prov 16:3
Pray first. Then build.
Build With God.

appreciate you brother!
Good Day, X family.
It's Social Saturday.
This week I'm grateful for the new connections and the ones who've stuck around. Every reply,
retweet, and DM means more than you know.
Some names worth knowing this week, they're doing good work:
@m_0_r_g_a_n_
@ROIbyJesse
@celinehaverstad
@NicKent789
@linafahizul
@riinshaan
@thebaldogarza
@theCreativeGig
@oMaqueiro
@DailyLight28
@lrhaughton
Go follow them.
Build with God.
Keeping your expenses low gives you room to make decisions based on what matters, instead of what the next payment demands.
I've learned that freedom in business means a lot less if you're trapped by the lifestyle you've built.

Good afternoon, Founders.
Morning got away from you? That's okay.
The day isn't over.
Pause. Pray. Pick the one next step. Take it.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." Prov 16:3
Not a perfect morning. But a faithful afternoon.
What's your one next step?
If the result depends on you remembering, you haven’t built a system. You’ve built a second job.
A founder’s job is not to do more.
It’s to make the right work happen without another reminder.
That takes more than a checklist.
A useful mechanism answers three questions:
What starts the work?
Who owns the result?
What happens if it slips?
Take client onboarding.
“Make sure every new client has a great experience” is a wish.
A signed agreement that starts a defined sequence is a mechanism:
The intake form goes out.
One person owns the handoff.
The kickoff gets booked within two business days.
Missing information gets flagged before it delays delivery.
Anything overdue reaches someone with the power to fix it.
Now the outcome has a path, an owner, and a way to catch failure.
You can automate parts of that. But software won’t fix an unclear handoff. It will just move the confusion faster.
Start with the result. Work backward to the trigger. Assign one owner. Define what “done” means. Build a response for when reality goes off script.
Then measure whether it works without you chasing it.
You cannot make every outcome certain. You can make good execution the default instead of a daily act of will.
Your calendar should not be the glue holding the business together.
Pause before planning your next move. Bring your work and your future to God.
I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for your welfare, not harm, to give you hope and a future. Jer 29:11
Build With God.
A good opportunity can still be the wrong opportunity for you.
I put together The Three-Yes Filter to help you think through your calling, your business, and your family before committing.
It includes guided questions, a decision framework, and practical ways to handle the hard calls.
Work through it here: billwolfe.me
Replying to @billwolfe
do you have a FAQ somewhere on what the answer is to those three questions- or maybe at least the two? I could see linking that to people to have them self eliminate if any of the answers are a no
Your sales process may be creating the doubt your sales team is paid to overcome.
A buyer says yes to the call.
Then waits two days for a reply.
Repeats their story to three people.
Gets a proposal full of tasks, but no clear outcome.
Then you call it a lead quality problem.
Before you add more leads, fix three things:
1. Remove the work.
Ask for information once. Pass it forward. Give every next step an owner and a deadline.
The buyer should not have to manage your team to become your customer.
2. Make the value clear.
“Six calls and a strategy document” describes your workload.
“A clear plan your team can execute, with owners and priorities” describes what the buyer gets.
Tie the work to a problem they already want solved. Be clear about what is and is not included.
3. Make the next step certain.
After every call, the buyer should know what happens next, who is responsible, and when it will happen.
When they sign, send the receipt, kickoff steps, and point of contact right away. Don’t let a signed deal sit in silence.
None of this requires a bigger sales team.
It requires clear handoffs, shared context, and follow-through that does not depend on someone remembering.
Your process is part of the proof.
If buying from you feels disjointed, buyers have a reason to question your delivery.
Make the path to yes feel like a preview of working with you.
Pause before you return to the work.
Let the hope of resurrection steady what you build.
He who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and bring us together into his presence. 2 Cor 4:14
Build With God.
I used to say yes to everything.
Every deal. Every partnership. Every "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity.
I got stretched thin, and my family paid for it.
Now I run every opportunity through 3 questions:
1. Does it serve my calling?
2. Does it serve my business?
3. Does it serve my family?
If the answer is no, it's a no.
Chasing more is easy. Building better takes saying no when it costs you.
What's your filter for saying yes?
A lot of people want to see you fail to justify the risks they chose not to take.
That's the whole truth right there. It's not about you, it's about their own regret.
I've had to let people go who couldn't celebrate my wins.
You don't owe anyone space in your life who is waiting for you to fail. Surround yourself with people who want to build, not tear down.
Protect your circle.
Good morning, Founders.
It's Friday. Before you rush to close out the week, look back at it.
"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126:3
Not just what's left on the list.
What He's already done.
Write down three things that went right this week. You'll finish the week thankful instead of just tired.
Surrender to win.
What's one thing from this week you're thanking God for?
Build with God.
Stop treating your competitors like enemies.
When I was building my agency, I needed revenue. So I started looking at competitors as partners.
I pitched them joint venture ideas and shared clients. I niched down.
It wasn't a hard sell. It was easy.
When you see the world differently, you show up differently. When you show up differently, you
create results that looked impossible a moment before.
