Who’s cutting onions?
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the moment Terence Dials told the Ohio State men’s basketball program that his former teammate, JJ Sullinger, would donate a kidney to him.

In a capitalistic society it might been seen as foolish to take less than what a market can yield. I LOVE that peace of mind & family & an acknowledgement of the treatment from the fan base are things that were prioritized by Jose. You can’t put a price tag on those things.
Jose Ramirez breaks silence on signing below market extension from Guardians;
(Translation by Master Flip)
That was ultimately my decision, to take the extension. We went through a year and a half of negotiations, and when I finally signed, I got a significant salary bump. I knew it wasn’t fully reflective of my market value, and plenty of people made sure to point that out. But I’m a veteran, I understand how the game works.
Cleveland is a small market team, and they simply can’t pay me what I could command on the open market. So I told them, Let’s find a fair agreement that works for both sides.
I spoke directly with the GM. There were real trade discussions and offers from other teams willing to extend me at my full asking price, but my heart was set on staying in Cleveland. First and foremost, my children were born here. My wife feels comfortable in Cleveland and so do I. I owe this city a lot.
Since the day I arrived, I’ve never once been booed by these fans. I’ve seen how crowds in other stadiums treat players when results don’t come quickly, and that’s never happened here.

"The worst trade in NFL history happened under his watch."
@minakimes is "puzzled" by the Browns keeping GM Andrew Berry 😳

We are going to see soon that 1000s of players made mistakes. Coach nails it. Stop worrying about a check. Start enjoying life. Most of those in the portal just made their college experience more expensive and many just ended theirs.

Shedeur Sanders is the worst starting quarterback in the NFL.
That’s not a hot take.
That’s a fact.
• Lowest completion percentage: 55.1% (ESPN)
• Slowest time to throw: 3.25 seconds (Next Gen Stats)
• Lowest QBR: 18.6 (ESPN)
I had a undraftable free agent grade on Sanders in this pre-draft scouting report: firstroundmock.com/2025/01/s…

Phillip Rivers is a winner no matter what the scoreboard says. I was more than skeptical when he returned to play. I thought why not someone younger? Why not someone who has practiced all year? I put my limits on him, & I was wrong.
He’s inspired, and energized this team. I’m not sure where this ends up or if they ever win a game, but Phillip Rivers is a Hall of Famer. I won’t doubt dude again!

I wanna say something about Philip Rivers.
He hasn’t played football in over 5 years, he steps up in a role we have never seen. Coming into this job and immediately playing against the best defense in the NFL.
The next week having to play against the other hottest defense and offense in the NFL, in the 49ers. He managed to be the best player on the field tonight for the Colts, as a 44 year old that just took the job.
This story will always be remembered by me as a die-hard NFL fan, he played his heart out.
stupidity. Chiefs owner worth $24 billion.
BREAKING: The @Chiefs are set to receive $1.8 billion (!) in public money for a new $3 billion stadium in Kansas. That's the largest public subsidy ever for a U.S. sports stadium project. More coming for practice facility, too.
