For children with a parent in prison, volunteer mentors provide a neutral and positive role model outside of the family home. Our mentors allow children impacted by parental imprisonment an opportunity to try new things, access resources and develop life skills.
Attached is a collage of the activities one of our volunteer mentors, Rachael, has done with their mentee recently.
"I love my time mentoring. Over the last year we have done so much. We have built a lovely relationship and we both really look forward to seeing each other." - Rachael
If you would like to find out more about face to face mentoring in the Thames Valley area, please visit our website: childrenheardandseen.co.uk/v… or contact us at [email protected].
