Wish I was with my old man to witness this but even in Argentina this feels good! A long time coming and at last a trophy #NUFC

James Rodriguez - the player of the tournament by a country mile (so far) A recruitment conundrum. Does a club take another chance on him based off this or do they look at the last few years at club level?

Endrick helped Palmeiras to another title last night - the sky really is the limit for the teenager A replug of my piece on him for @Wyscout hudl.com/blog/endrick-palmei…

A sign of their success but interesting to see Brighton’s name so extensively used when linking South American players to transfers. Agents and journalists dropping #BHAFC in to try and add credibility

Chelsea have obviously paid an absolute fortune but a central midfield with Moisés and Enzo is ridiculously good

Once again #BHAFC have played this one perfectly - set their price, didn’t budge and eventually Chelsea buckle and pay an absolute fortune. No club better to use that money effectively

Seriously impressive from #NUFC Villa looked a tricky start on paper so to win in that manner is a statement A fit Isak all season is going to score a hatful, the Tonali doubters will already be quiet, Gordon’s too and the squad depth is there with Barnes and Wilson ⚫️⚪️

Lens make the most of their link to Millonarios to bring in one of the most exciting prospects out of Colombia - really keen to see how Oscar Cortés gets on. Could prove to be an absolute steal

😂😂😂 one of the worst rumours of silly season. NUFC offer Bruno and 30M to Barcelona for Raphina. Honestly these ITKs every transfer window just get worse 🤡

Great business from @GenoaCFC to bring Alan Matturro in at the start of the year. His value will have soared during this U20 World Cup

FINALLY!

Those people who thought this might be a miss for Brighton when they paid out for Enciso 🫢 Once again the club took its time and the kid is going to be a BIG problem next season

I've never been able to enjoy a frustrating 0-0 as much! Didn't think I'd see us back in the Champions League again - roll on next season!

People may say there is little camaraderie between rivals in Argentine football but Racing Club are doing a decent job to make Independiente feel better

What a pleasure and an honour it was last weekend to cover the #Superclásico for @afaplay. Everyone involved in the production at @torneos_ok did a tremendous job

There is perhaps no greater compliment than the fact that you speak to young, deep lying midfielders from across the world over the past 10 years and almost all study Busquets & want to emulate him

OFFICIAL Brighton sign Joao Pedro from Watford. A club récord fee but another shrewd move for a young player with massive potential. Able to contribute immediately and yet improve and see his value soar Business done early too before a lot of clubs would be interested
