MOMENTUM! Thanks to all of your calls and emails, a majority of the City Council is now signed onto the CURB Act. This bill would prevent the NYPD from infringing on our first amendment right to protest.
The chair of the Public Safety Comittee, @OswaldFeliz, is still blocking this bill from coming to a hearing even after the NYPD abused protesters in his district after ICE shot a man.
