Anxiety wise - Chinese Visa was the most stressful visa for me! > Applied before 23rd Oct > VFS did nothing but still got ₹3000+ express fee [What can we do about it?] > 23rd Oct, Rule got changed and VFS lost all access. > Online review got approved in 6 working days > Next step, Passport and document submission at Chinese Embassy, Dehi > Chinese Embassy lines were crazy. Timings - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM > Went on Friday at 11:00 AM, Didn’t come close till 12:00 PM, disappointed but no way other than to wait till Monday. > Went again on Monday but this time at 6:30 AM, reached top 30 in queue, got entry by 9:30 AM, submitted documents and exited by 10:30 AM > Prepared DD for ₹4700 [Express] in the name of Chinese Embassy, New Delhi [no spelling mistakes] by 2:00 PM same day > Went for collection of passport today at 2:30 PM, was inside by 3:15 PM, got surprised by seeing 2 rejections on collection day, waited till my turn when officer handed over passport and receipt happily, exited by 4:00 PM Looking forward to a comfortable trip 🧿🧿🧿

Poaching Level 999 Can't believe OpenAI was able to get her!
Some news: I’m joining OpenAI to lead product management for Core Products! I have a lot of respect for OpenAI for showing the world that scaling works, for bringing AI to over a billion people, and for believing great products are core to the mission. I’m excited to work with @thsottiaux, an incredible PM team, and everyone across OpenAI. Together, we’ll build agents that have your back and your team’s, and keep you in control, so you get more time for the people and work you love. Lots to learn, and lots to build. Please keep your feedback coming!

Readers added context they thought people might want to know

Saw an article on EVA Air on my timeline yesterday. This can be a good article for all people interested in EVA Air. Also, I have become a fan of graphics put by Adam 👌
In 2016, the founder of Taiwan's EVA Air died and left everything to his youngest son. Two months later, the son's three older half-brothers voted him out as chairman. So he started his own airline at the same airport. Now three airlines from an island of 23 million run 1,181 flights a week out of Taipei, to 70 cities on four continents. EVA is the queen, China Airlines the rook, Starlux the knight.

Participated in the recent Netweb Tech concall post Q2 result and had opportunity to ask questions from the management. Screenshot 1: Enquired about the on-boarding of 2 banking clients SBI and IDFC-First Bank. Asked Is it the start of growth in this niche untapped BFSI segment and how the company look into this for next 3-4 years? Management reiterated stating that it was a good observation from my side. Though refrain to add something substantial on this topic. One important inference we can conclude that with rising AI, data sovereignty and data localisation more and more banking clients can be onboarded. Moreover, immediately next day after concall Netweb officialyy tweeted on X about organizing conference for BFSI sector. Screenshot 2: Some one in the concall asked them " Name Indian Comapnies which are your Competitors? Management: They had no idea about that. On surface level, it can be assumed that they are naive and immature that they don't know about their competitors. But deep diving, they are in high end technology with full hardware & software stack and literally have moat in India. Take example, the once Fastest supercomputer in India " Airawat" was built and developed by Netweb. Secondly, someone asked about challenges and concerns in AI and demand with respect to it Management Answer: No such concerns and the demand and capex is not even mid way and in initial phase. Now coming to Valuations: Management guided 35-40% Revenue growth guidance for next 2-3 Years on this huge FY 27 revenue base [where revenue would be almost more than double]. This is impressive. I am attending and participating concalls of Netweb since early 2024. All those who have been attending know how conservative Mr. Sanjay Lodha is while giving guidance. Even for FY 25, 26 he had said 35-40% and delivered more than twice of that. That shows the sign of responsibility and ethicality from the CEO. Modelling FY 30 Revenue: Even if we take 40% CAGR revenue growth[though personally I think they would grow by more] for next 3 years with base Rs 4500 crore Revenue. Estimated FY 27 Revenue: Rs 4, 500 Crore [ Conservative] PAT : Rs 450 Crore[ 10% margin] Estimated FY 30 Revenue: Rs 12, 348 Crore Even if we take 9% PAT margin FY 30 PAT: Rs 1,111 Crore PAT growth: 146% On immediate short term basis, the stock can come down to even Rs 3000 who knows. But long term growth trajectory for revenue & earnings for atleast next 2-3 years is visible. What will spur Order book & Pipeline growth? Netweb future growth can come from India AI Mission 2.0, National supercomputer mission 2.0, BFSI sector [niche], AI tokenization & Data centre[ E2E, Yotta, Zoho customers of Netweb]. Disclaimer: I am personally invested in it since 2023 and my views are personal. And I can be totally wrong also as market is unpredictable. Please don't buy sell on my research and do your own analysis before taking any decision.
Netweb Tech important observation from PPTs shared by management. After going through Strategic document PPT shared by the mgmt. 2 new clients 1. SBI 2. IDFC first Bank Data with Banks come under Critical cyber Infrastructure and Netweb being one of India's few Cloud and Full stack might be given responsibility for the same. Data sovereignty is the key. Important Inference: More banking clients like HDFC, ICICI might be in pipeline.

So many people had asked for this sheet ✨ Here is the link 👇 docs.google.com/spreadsheets… Enjoy your travel 🙂 #ccgeek Next up, Aeroplan if you guys are interested!
Why visit 1 country when you can visit 2 for the same amount of miles? 🤷‍♂️ Alaska has a great free stopover program for regional hub of partner airlines. [DOH, HEL, HND & more] With our dear Claude, I figured out all 2068 combinations possible from India [DEL, BLR & BOM] to anywhere in the world. Search it as you like - Destination wise, Miles wise or Airline wise. If you have Atmos rewards [or transferring from Marriott], you must have this spreadsheet. Let me know if you would like to access! #ccgeek

Even being Claude Paglu, I have to admit Google’s AI mode has browser advantage 💪 The integration is so effective with google search that I don’t switch to Claude for asking stuff ✨ It has captured all “asking” stuff from Claude. Claude is mainly for “executing” stuff.

teapawt.net/s4ch/status/2111437434… Sachin has made something interesting!
For my fellow Indian credit card points enthusiasts: I've been a bit obsessed with credit card points for a few years now. My wife will happily confirm this. My favourite redemption so far was last year, when we flew Cathay to HK on points to see Coldplay live on our wedding anniversary. Still one of the best trips we've had and hardly cost anything! The planning was the painful bit though. Every trip meant finding a flight, then opening loads of tabs to work out award charts, transfer ratios and which of my points stashes could actually get us there. So I built something to do that for me. It's called SeeThePoints. I built it with Indian cards and Indian travellers in mind first. It works on Google Flights and Skyscanner, as well as MakeMyTrip, Cleartrip, Goibibo, ixigo, EaseMyTrip and Yatra. You search like you normally would and the points price shows up right under each fare. If the points are a better deal than paying cash, it turns gold. That's all free. There's also a Pro version if you want business and first class, or want to see exactly which of your cards transfer and at what ratio. (MCC: 5734 😄) It now covers cards from 46 countries and works in 21 languages, but my first goal was always Indian points enthusiasts like us. Free on Chrome and Edge, no sign-up needed. Please give it a go and let me know what you think. Honest feedback is really welcome, good or bad. seethepoints.com @seethepoints PS. DM me for a 50% off coupon for Pro. PPS: This is my first ever public app, would really appreciate your feedback!

Unreal to Real 😮 Flying cars will become a reality this decade only.
JUST IN: Elon Musk unveils the Tesla Roadster by launching it off a ramp before the car flipped in midair and safely landed on the ground. The car is a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX. One of the most insane things I've ever seen.

Codex is eating up too much tokens for simple tasks on Chrome via Chatgpt extension😐 🔹What is happening? - Everyday, I am exhausting my 5 hour limit in first 30 mins every time 😕 🔹 What I need? - One setting or one fix for light browser work. 🔹 Why it hurts? - I pay for Codex to save time. Now I sit and wait for resets 😕 Claude Code looks like God in comparison. 🔹 What I want? - A quick fix for the issue. Coffee and cookies on me for the first one who replies! Let’s see who solves it first 🏁 Tibo @thsottiaux, Romain Huet @romainhuet, Andrew Ambrosino @ajambrosino, Alexander Embiricos @embirico, Dominik Kundel @dkundel, Thomas Ricouard @Dimillian, Corey Ching @coreyching, Charlie Guo @charlierguo, Rohan Varma @TheRohanVarma, Gabriel Chua @gabrielchua, Vaibhav Srivastav @reach_vb
