Gabby Williams says Michael Jordan texted her to congratulate her on winning a championship. Jordan told Williams to “stay hungry." She responded “I’ve never been hungrier.” (Via @kendra__andrews)

She came home at 11:30 at night to find her neighbor's car in her paid parking spot, so she had it towed. "There's a sign on the wall and a sign on the floor." Neighbor: "You could have knocked on the door. We stay right next door to each other." Her: "I don't know you, mama. Seeing you does not mean I know you." Should she have knocked first, or was the tow fair?

FAMILY OF 14 BOOKS A TABLE FOR 8 TO DODGE THE TIP!! Fair play by the customer, or flat out stiffing the server? Language warning. A bartender says a party of eight adults showed up with six kids, then refused the automatic gratuity because it was "only a table of eight." According to her, a kid got into mom's margarita along the way and the bartender got the blame. If it went down like she tells it, the customer loses this one. Six kids are six more people to seat, feed, refill and clean up after. Kids' meals are cheap, but the work isn't. The rule kicks in at ten, and fourteen is more than ten. Anybody with little kids knows a restaurant bill adds up fast. I get wanting to save. You save by eating at home, not by shorting the person carrying plates for fourteen. The margarita part bugs me more than the tip, though. As a dad, the drink sitting in reach of my kid is on me, not the bartender. Count your kids before you count your tip.

The little laugh before he took the gun is priceless. You know you're in trouble when Denzel looks at you with a relaxed lower lip. Denzel probably handed those workers more money than the gang pays them in a year. I love how they add a tension sound to the ambient when Andre points his gun, as if he was a threat. But then a LOUDER boom is heard when Denzel takes the gun, I find this meant to explain how everyone else in the room is inferior to McCall's cold and calculating mind The way he acts like he's totally inexperienced is a great way to get the guy to let his guard down "Appear weak when you are strong. Appear strong when you are weak" Frank just got in too deep. You can tell when he shot little John men that he wasn't down for it. He wasn't like the other cops robbing businesses and threatening patrons. He was really trying to keep the peace while accepting dirty money. (It's not right) but that's why he stop showing up to work & not accepting Teddys calls. He is redeemable and thats what makes is character interesting. I love this bit, specifically the disarm because it's actually a realistic and used method. It's not like other films where they just slap the wrist out of the way, no it you do that you're getting shot. If you watch closely, the first hand goes straight for the gun and immediately takes control of it, aiming it away from himself. The weapon is the threat and most important thing to deal with and he instantly takes that threat offline. Only after with his other hand he then takes control of the guys wrist allowing him to twist the gun from his grip successfully taking it for himself. Smooth yet incredibly realistic.

I don't know what those two cops were thinking! If you're doing something criminal, a man that you've never seen before mysteriously gets your phone number and confronts you over your crimes, then shows you a video of your crime and tells you he only has one copy of it, you do whatever you he tells you. It’s a shame that this kinda things only happen in movies. but in the real world, the real life, there is not equalizer... or justice. Just evil. The only difference between him and John Wick is that Wick will just finish the job, not even allowing them villains to finish their speech. I think this scene is a prime example of how police corruption must be cleaned up. Police corruption will be cleaned up by citizens because our legislators will not do it. Citizen's justice - the wave of the future. I love seeing corrupt cops held accountable. McCall was right to call them punks their trained detectives and yet they couldn't have been a bit more focused when he attacked them?! Honestly that right there shows the difference between a real fighter and a punk fighter!! The Equalizer 🎬🍿

LEGENDARY: The incredible story of how #Lions Hall of Fame WR Calvin Johnson got the nickname “MEGATRON” and became one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history. In 2007, teammate Roy Williams started calling Johnson “Megatron” after the release of the Transformers movie. At first, Johnson thought Megatron was Optimus Prime, not realizing he was actually the VILLAIN. Once he figured it out, he embraced the nickname, saying he could be the bad guy to opposing defenses all day. MEGATRON WAS TRULY ONE OF A KIND. One of the most dominant receivers in #NFL history.
