Survivors of domestic abuse or rape are not required to wear a face mask. This is because of the trauma it can induce in having their mouths obstructed. They are not required to explain why. Please don’t judge others, you don’t know what they have been through.
Are you confident to administer emergency first aid to your pet? Possibly saving their life? We’re hosting a First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) Instructor Led Course. Using pet manikins & full demos. £65 for 4 hour day course & certificate. Could be the best £65 you ever spend. DM for more.

My biological dad was psychologically abusive and to my mother, physically. The trigger that led to this charity. We got a second go with my step-dad who was the complete opposite. A precious man. I struggle to find the strength to deal with his loss. I’m devastated ~ Gavin

I was honoured to be amongst those selecting the winning entries for the Pet Refuge Project 2024 calendar - and I loved it so much that I bought a copy. You can purchase here and support a great cause. abusedpetrefuge.com/merchand…
We are hugely dependent on donations as providing our services is costly. Rather than just ask for donations we’ve put together some merchandise. Why not have a look? #giveafiverfriday abusedpetrefuge.com/merchand…

I’ll also point out, this dog was rescued from a bin in Spain about ten years ago. Her two litter mates were already dead. #onedogsaved

1/3 Hello everyone. We continue to be in desperate need of financial help. When the call came in that a kitten needed urgent medical treatment, there was no question that it had to be covered. The owner has been through an awful lot, and if we hadn't covered the vet fees, the

You should look up @PetRefuge , who offer amazing help and support in this area of domestic abuse.
Just when you think you have heard it all, you get a case that becomes ‘the worst case of abuse you’ve ever seen’. And one that far surpasses all the others. But they will be rescued and they will prevail. #RescueEveryone
We need volunteers for lots of roles, not least fostering but driving, admin, casework and first responding. Please do DM us if you have some time you could give each week to help us, we would really appreciate it ~ @GavinSRidley #RescueEveryone @Becksmeister @Sheridansmith1
