Why don’t the majority of developed European and Asian countries have STEM programs in their schools?
1
STEM was originally created in the US to strengthen science curriculum. Asian and European countries do not need STEM as they teach physics as a mandatory subject.
What is the benefit of physics being offered as a separate, mandatory subject three times a week in grades 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in developed European and Asian countries?
1
They largely overproduce technological talent, including engineers, have a stronger science foundation and an opportunity to practice applications of math because they’re taught physics each year.
The # 1 component for success in the classroom is having powerful tools.
The absence of physics education in middle school is causing the US to fall behind in math and science in comparison to other countries.
Well!!!
