We hear much of old people being bigoted in their antiquated ideas. It has always been my experience that the young are much more bigoted in their new ideas.
The last people I want to see get powers to levy more taxes are those running local authorities, having seen what they do when they are given power to levy anything eg surcharge on holiday homes. If this is "devolution" I don't want it.

🚨226 children, some as young as 11 years old, are about to be given £500 worth of shopping vouchers by the UK Government in order to undertake a puberty blockers trial, placing them on a pathway to infertility.
This is the medical scandal of our time.

Our polling with @WStoneInsight found that 66% of Britons believe migration from countries with fewer rights for women has contributed to an increase in reported sexual offences. 🔷
Women's safety must be central to immigration policy. 👇

Our polling earlier this year found that over half of family businesses had changed their future plans as a result of the BPR changes to Inheritance Tax.
This is bad because family businesses create jobs, support communities and build for the next generation.

Thinking today about what happened in Israel on October 7, three years ago.
Jews hunted-down, gang-raped, burned alive, beheaded. Babies and elderly alike. For no other reason than they were Jews. I keep being told Israel ‘over-reacted’. By fighting back against a war of extermination it didn’t start?
As a Christian, I always considered myself a friend of Israel. Now, having spent the last three years watching a wickedly contrived attempt to forget what really happened on October 7, and in spite of anything our Green Party says, I’m proud to call myself a Zionist.

The fact police and govt say they cannot stop this hateful march on the anniversary of the 7 October massacre of Jews shows protest law is not fit for purpose. Ministers should accept my recommendation to amend the Public Order Act

Dignitas use the same drug.
They produce no data, reports or research.
No regulatory authority anywhere in the world has evaluated assisted dying methods.
Safe?
Really?
Another botched lethal injection. Pentobarbital is the drug also used in Assisted Dying regimens: "..concerns raised by Ms Pike proved true: vein access, degraded pentobarbital, no emergency medical care available, under a protocol veiled in secrecy" bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq8r…
Green Party discourages use of word "nutter"...make of that what you will
Members must “stop using words and phrases including ‘elderly’, ‘female politician’ and ‘mothers and fathers’. Also discouraged are ‘able-bodied’, ‘sex-change’, ‘homosexual’, ‘a nutter’, ‘youngster’ and ‘sexual preference’.”

We have today published a statement responding to recent claims concerning Whitestone Insight’s polling on assisted dying and the British Polling Council’s findings.
We believe some important facts and context have been overlooked.

Some of this is to be applauded but it creates a perverse financial incentive to have an abortion at a time when we have 1.39 fertility rate compared to 2.1 needed for replacement

And another horror story. The more time elapses, the more we hear about the grisly reality of #assistedsuicide practices around the world. Thank goodness the House of Commons kicked it out.
