Any thoughts on the @WAX_io "temporary" wallet creation fee? ⌛️ It's been 2 years? I get that the WAX fee can reduce bots, but has it slowed onboarding to WAX projects? I'm sure the #WAXFAM can tell you... Getting new players into my Underpunk RPG was hard enough. It's actually easier now to send them to a harder but free wallet solution. A lot of old-school tabletop gamers are keen to play Underpunk and get their first #WAXNFT, but the whole "pay to activate your wallet" thing is a real pain. It’s hard enough to get them to create a wallet in the first place, let alone toss money into the mix just so it shows up on on the ledger. Or does the #WAXcommunity not care anymore? Is the WAX fee really necessary to cover resources? Is it really worth it if it’s pushing away genuine users? Yes there are alternatives like Wombat and Anchor, but isn't GROWTH about targeting people who are completely new to crypto, and already dealing with a massive learning curve. Adding a financial hoop to jump through just complicates things more.
