Clayface is boring. For a body horror it's standard stuff. For a revenge flick it's the run-of-the-mill you've seen 1000 times. For a villain arc it's barely believable. The romance would've made more sense if someone shot me in the head and fed me face first into a running lawnmower. Clayface does gets a couple things right. Tom Rhys Harries does well with what little he's got to work with. The club scene where he T-1000s himself, replicating others on his way to his target, was well done. People say they see The Fly references throughout but Clayface's biggest influence is Surf Dracula. It nails the Surf Dracula story beats to a T.

Don't let anyone convince you against watching this movie. If you have any fond memories of this game, this movie is fun af.
STREETFIGHTER is the most confusing movie we've seen this year. A- Cast and performance built around a D- Storyline.
Entertaining yet disjointed and dressed up for the 90s, but in a way that feels slightly off... like looking at the 90's through the eyes of someone else who was actually there.
The movie is expected to open with $30M against an $83M budget. While the director believes a sequel is imminent, it will need to earn close to $200M to get a green light.
The only saving grace of the movie is its casting and fight scenes.
Led by Noah Centineo, who plays Ken Masters, Andrew Koji, who plays Ryu and Callina Liang, who plays Chun-li, a paper thin storyline is elevated by their over the top performances.
David Dastmalchian does an admirable job as M. Bison, although he doesn’t quite invoke the fear I’d like from that villain.
Wrestler Cody Rhodes plays an excellent Guile, both intimidating and funny while being over the top. 50 Cent plays the larger than life Mike Tyson inspired Balrog and Jason Momoa plays Blanka… sorta.
Despite a great soundtrack and compelling characters, this is not a movie you need to see in theaters. Save it for a night at your local discount theater or wait for streaming. STREET FIGHTER lands at 17 on the 2026 movie list. Overall Grade: B-

Metallica frontman James Hetfield took a swipe at artists who use their concerts to lecture audiences about politics during the band's Las Vegas residency.
In what could easily be seen as a dig at the likes of Macklemore, Hetfield told the crowd:
"Unless you live in Vegas, you've come a long way to spend some time with Metallica. We're grateful for that. Your travels, the money you spend, the time it took, thanks for coming to celebrate with us.
And I just gotta say, Metallica is not here, like some other entertainers, to influence you with their bullshit. We are here to forget about all the outside shit. Metallica's agenda is love, energy and heavy music, baby!"
Hetfield has rarely spoken openly about his politics, but past interviews suggest he holds many conservative values.
On Joe Rogan's podcast in 2016, he explained how he'd moved his family away from the San Francisco Bay Area, having grown tired of what he saw as its political intolerance and elitism.
As a Metallica fan, this is incredibly based! 🤘

I did not expect all the fags to come out of the woodwork on this one.
Let me break it down for you:
I spent $100 to play Gears of War: E-Day early. Something not a lot of people will do. I post on X about something that absolutely doesn't need to be in the game and lands in front of 75k+ eyeballs that were possibly on the fence about spending $69.99 on a game when it releases. Enough people see all the posts about it and check out other games...because...we have too many great games right now to choose from.
If they just kept the political messaging out of the game, (yes trans and gay flags are a political message) it would have brought so much more success.
I knew when we saw Kate Rayner (Mike Rayner) use a fem voice for 15 min after the debut of E-Day, we had a serious red flag upon us.
I played 2 hours of the campaign so far on stream with @Isaac556x45 and we both agree the campaign is fucking awesome so far. We're allowed to say things are good/great except for a few things such as certain characters and trans flags. I'm willing to bet I've played and will have played more than the gays complaining about how I shouldn't even have an opinion about it.
Companies need to stop catering to the people that don't even buy the game.
