Also, now that I don’t feel the drive to basically run apologetics for trans-affirmative Catholicism, I’m not sure what direction this account will take. At this point it’s more about meeting and getting to know likeminded thinkers than anything.
I’m intending to really lay off from even thinking about posting on X for a while and just really focus on rebuilding a worldview again. This can really only be done by being grounded in real life, so I am laying back from posting.

i don't say this to be callous, i felt very similarly after i apostatized 2 years ago. the breath of empty space can be unbearable sometimes, but if you can find the strength within yourself to carry on, to embrace your fate with love and gratitude, you will flourish like never before

I agree. Pure Divine Mystery becomes almost indistinguishable from Atheism & especially Agnosticism in practice. Which is why a degree of disillusionment or blind faith into its genuine personification is necessary for one to live distinctly from the prior two worldviews.
I think sufficient apophaticism leads you to believe that God exists but the way you should believe in Him is virtually impossible to distinguish from like a kind of spiritual atheism
