By “antisemitism in schools” she means her daughter’s school organized a bake sale for Palestinian charities in November 2023 and when she threw a fit and forced the school to agree that all proceeds be split equally between Palestinian and Israeli charities the other parents voted to cancel the whole thing altogether.

Beautiful Perfect Capitalism
Aside from the shocking substance of this story, what's amazing is how it was unearthed by Cole. The short version: The Russians were able to penetrate Jared Kushner's iPhone and extract screenshots and data. Then, a Russian intel official was captured by Dutch intelligence (!) and flipped. The Dutch believed Kushner may have been acting on behalf of Russia, so pursued him as an intel target and were able to get into his phone. They did not find any evidence of Russian collusion, instead they watched him moving hundreds of millions of dollars from slush funds created by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, one of them housed in Israel's central bank. Incredible reporting, and if Democrats have any sense, they will pull on these threads and learn a lot more about this money.

Of course you can't trust newsflow these days AND the administration's level of planning leaves a lot to be desired But Feels like they're going to use nukes or something if they're expecting whatever they do next to be even more unpopular than what they've already done

Out now! The lie that Jeffrey Epstein ran a sexual-blackmail operation for Israeli intelligence has convinced millions of Americans that their leaders are compromised and their wars are fought on Israel’s orders. In The Epstein Conspiracy, David Reaboi, a longtime writer on political warfare and information operations, shows that Russia very likely manufactured, laundered, and activated it as information warfare. Its real target is America’s capacity to reason about its own national interests.

The sickest passage I've ever read about anyone was this story of how Kaplan sexually harassed his subordinate Sarah Wynn-Williams after she has a troubled pregnancy. It's from her book Careless People on the creeps running Meta.
Sharing some news here on the professional front for me.  After more than 15 years at Meta, I’ve decided the time is right for me to move on from my role as Chief Global Affairs Officer.  It’s been an extraordinary journey and opportunity, and I’m very proud of the team we built and work we did.  I will always be grateful to @finkd and @sherylsandberg for bringing me in all those years ago and supporting me and my work all along the way.  It has been a true privilege to work with Mark – one of the great founders, builders, and strategic CEOs in history – as well as his leadership team, and the incredible Global Affairs team we’ve assembled over the years. I’ll be at the company for a few months to help with the transition, and then look forward to catching my breath, making up for lost time with my beautiful wife, catching all of my daughter’s high school tennis matches, and surprising my son with frequent unannounced visits at college.  Somewhere in there will also find some time to figure out what I want to do next–will let you know when I do! axios.com/2026/10/20/joel-ka…

[2028 Debate] VANCE: You know it’s funny I used to, well some of my friends would actually say uh, “We should kill Barney.” The dinosaur. It was a bit too far for me, but I did get a chuckle. MODERATOR BARI WEISS: Great point. AOC, would you like to apologize for the holocaust?

Land of the Free. Greatest Country in the World
The 56-year-old Mexican man who died Saturday while in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody was a lawful permanent resident in the country, the agency said in a statement. ICE added he was detained because officers believed he obtained his legal status in the U.S. fraudulently. texastribune.org/2026/10/19/…

Outsiders think Yemen, Oman and Saudi Arabia are all barren desert. They are wrong about Western Yemen. This is what they all covet, and what the Houthis learned to fight to defend. The Saudis, with British backing, annexed the northern 3 provinces of Yemen in 1934, and they have not forgotten it.

across the USA homeowners are asking why they can't be interred in their homes after death, accompanied by a ritually sacrificed doordasher and favorite appliances, the entire property set ablaze. "what 'gas lines'?" asks one "if i'm not alive, does the subdivision even exist?"
