Police said stop and search... one wrong move can land you in cell. Do this instead.
1 Stay calm. Don't argue.
Raising your voice or acting aggressive can escalate the situation.
2 Ask politely: "Officer, what is the reason for the stop?" Police must have reasonable suspicion before a search. [ Police Act 2020 ]
3 You can ask: "Do you have a warrant?"
For your phone, house, or private items, a warrant or your consent is required. [ 1999 Constitution (as amended) - Right to privacy ]
4 Do NOT resist physically.
Even if the stop is unlawful, resistance can be used against you later.
5 Do NOT offer or pay a bribe.
Bribery is a crime, for you and the officer. [ ICPC Act ]
6 Observe and remember details.
Badge number, patrol number, location, time.
7 If searched, ask for your items back immediately. Police cannot seize your property without proper documentation.
8 If your rights are violated, report later.
Use Police Complaint Unit, ICPC, or a lawyer.
Have you ever been stopped for search in Lagos or anywhere in Nigeria? Comment YES or NO.

If you've been paying attention to my posts, you would have known where to start by now, but let me repeat it for those at the back.
1. Learn a digital skill. Pick anything that appeals to you and learn. It doesn't matter. Almost every digital skill is worth learning. Pick one and start immediately.
2. Sometimes you don't even need a digital skill. You can start with any skill or knowledge you already have. If you know how to make lash extensions or know a lot about relationships, anything at all. You can start talking about it daily by creating text or video content.
3. Create content. It doesn't matter what you do or know. Talk about it. Write it. Make videos about it. Do it daily. This alone would completely change your life in 6 months if you start today.
Geh Geh made a name talking about what?
If he can do it, anyone can.
If you do nothing and do only this in 2026, by June, your life will completely transform.
4. Learn how to write. Writing is powerful. Writing is my weapon. Writing is all I do on X. This is why people follow me. This is why you're asking me for life advice, and you didn't even know me 3 months ago. You don't even know what I look like, except for a few days ago when I uploaded my picture.
Basic grammar, punctuation, and literary devices. Learn these things and how to use them. It will not only improve how you write, but also how you speak and communicate in general.
If you can communicate clearly, it will take you far in life.
5. Move fast. Very fast. Have a sense of urgency. Everything you do, never do it slowly.
Even how you walk, you must walk with your legs off the ground. Don't drag your feet when walking.
Learning a skill? Move fast.
Starting a business? Fast!
Building a product? You must run like you're being chased.
If you don't move fast, someone will overtake you.
Will you be the fastest? Maybe not, but at least you won't end last.
6. Build or create something. Big or small, it doesn't matter, but have something you can look at and say I did that.
It's the same thing I'm doing with remotah.com, a platform that will completely change how Africans find global remote jobs. We're still letting people join the waitlist, so please tell someone about it.
Why am I doing this?
I want to build something I can touch or feel, and possibly make an impact.
For you, it could be anything. Maybe a business. A book you wrote. Someone you impacted. A new body from your workout at the gym.
7. Do everything with excellence. Honestly, I still struggle with this daily because I feel I should be doing things more excellently. I'm working on it.
Everything you touch must show that someone took the time to do it. It was well thought out. It shows detail.
Also, when you learn, learn deeply. You must know that thing more than the average person.
A plumber?
You must be the world's best plumber.
A make-up artist?
People must see your work and want to lick someone's face.
You must know what you know deeply. World-class. Excellence. Nobody should be able to compete with you.
8. Try everything. I tell myself all the time that I don't want to be in my bed in old age, regretting all the opportunities I didn't try, places I didn't go, friends I didn't make, things I didn't learn, products I didn't build.
I want to be old, have only good memories, and pat myself daily that I did something.
I may not end up as wealthy as I want—a billionaire in dollars, but I'm sure I'll not end up saying it's because I didn't try that idea that's why I never made it.
If I never make it, I'll pat myself on the back and say, at least I tried. I gave it my best. I gave it everything I had, and it just didn't work, and that's OK. Sometimes, life is like this.
+++++
Have those things at the back of your mind. Work on it daily. Push yourself. Challenge yourself and tell yourself every day that you can be a better version of who you were yesterday.
Watch how your life will change.
Merry Christmas!

How to stop being SHY:
1. Make eye contact even when it feels awkward.
2. Speak a little louder than your comfort zone allows.
3. Say your opinions without apologizing first
4. Walk with your shoulders back and your head up
5. Start small conversations with strangers on purpose.
6. Do one thing daily that scares your social anxiety.
7. Stop overthinking how you look or sound.
8. Accept you'll be judged anyway, so act freely.
9. Spend more time around confident people.
10. Practice until discomfort becomes your new baseline.

A marriage counselor once told my wife the problem was “communication.”
$200 an hour.
12 sessions.
She learned to “use I statements.”
I learned to “validate her feelings.”
We were still miserable.
You know what fixed my marriage?
I stopped talking.
Started doing.
Woke up before her.
Made the coffee.
Didn’t announce it.
Handled the dishes.
Didn’t ask for credit.
Took the kids so she could rest.
Didn’t call it “babysitting.”
Three weeks.
No conversations about our problems.
No processing.
No therapy homework.
Just a man who finally acted like he gave a damn.
She didn’t say anything at first.
Then one morning she looked at me like she hadn’t looked at me in years.
Not with love.
With surprise.
She’d forgotten I could show up.
The counselor told us to talk more.
What we needed was for me to shut up and move.
Most marriages don’t die from lack of words.
They die from lack of action.
Your wife doesn’t need another conversation.
She needs to see you in the kitchen at 5 AM.
Not because she asked.
Because you finally woke up.

Learn first nah. You've not even started, and you're already thinking of how to make money from it?
You're fast, oh!
Anyway, if you're going into video editing and money is your motivation, then learn how to edit TikTok-type videos.
You know those fast-paced videos with sounds and little effects that are popular on TikTok?
That's what you need to learn. Capcut Pro, the laptop version, will make it easier for you. So learn using Capcut.
If you can make videos like that, you'll get swamped with gigs, because a lot of people are looking for editors who can do that.
The minimum people currently charge for a 60-second reel or TikTok-type video is 15k, with rates up to 150k. This depends on how clean your edits are and how you position yourself.
If you land a foreign gig, you should be making up to 1-3k USD monthly.

SynthID works for text, too. Ever wonder how it does it without ruining the text? Visual watermarks hide in pixels. Text watermarks hide in probabilities.
Here’s a quick explanation of how it works. 🧵 (1/3)
First, remember how LLMs generate text:
They predict the next word (token) based on probability. Context: "The cat sat on the..." Candidates:
1. Mat (50%)
2. Floor (30%)
3. Couch (20%)
Normally, the model rolls the dice based on these scores. But to add a watermark, SynthID uses a pseudo-random function (seeded by the previous words) to create a "Tournament."
It secretly boosts the score of specific tokens. Think of it like weighting a die so it lands on '6' slightly more often, but not enough to look rigged.
