Easy to say that’s why he should’ve taken Foden, Palmer, Trent etc. But for me tonight was perfect evidence why Adam Wharton should’ve gone. The best forward passer in world football and that was exactly what England missed tonight. The only way you break these sides down

Robert Jenrick: “We have procured more hotels very rapidly… What I have done in my short tenure is ramp that up and procure even more.” Nigel Farage: “This man is a fraud. This man isn’t to be trusted.” Now both are in #ReformUK telling you immigration is through the roof. You’re the dummy if you believe a single word from either of them. Same circus, different clowns. @Nigel_Farage @RobertJenrick

On behalf of their client, Zara Sultana, Bindmans Media and Information Law Practise Group requires that I publish the following statement on X, and that such statement must be clearly visible and pinned to my profile for a continuous period of no less than 24 hours: “On 30 March 2026, I published a post on my X account addressed to Zarah Sultana in which I stated that she encourages and incites violence and is friends with terrorists. Those statements are false. I was wrong and offer my sincere apologies to Ms Sultana for the harm and distress caused to her.” It is my very great pleasure to do this, and I reiterate my sincere and repeated offer to meet with Miss Zara Sultana in person to resolve our differences.

I've directed news programmes for the BBC and SKY and outside broadcasts during general elections for ITV and Channel 4 and I have never, ever seen, in 20 years, as blatant anti Labour bias as in this current period

It’s the last few days of Crystal Palace being the reigning FA Cup holders. With that in mind, I’d like to remind you of my favourite video on the internet. Scenes of pure emotion everywhere you look. ❤️💙

🚨When it comes to explaining the military situation in Iran, Sky News has Professor Michael Clarke, a Kings College lecturer. GB News has Jeff Banks, a fashion designer. You couldn't make it🤣🤣🤣

In 2023, @KemiBadenoch hosted an Iftar at Lancaster House. I was there. Here’s what happened: • Call to prayer ✔️ • Men and women prayed separately ✔️ • She stayed, participated, ate food, and raised no issue ✔️ Fast forward to now and she claims Ramadan events with gender-separated prayer are “wrong” and should never have happened. So what changed? Not the practice. Not the format. Just the politics and her principles. If it was acceptable when she was in government hosting diplomats and business leaders, why is it suddenly “wrong” when it involves ordinary British Muslims? You can’t have it both way

Olise may have improved at Bayern, but anyone who watched Crystal Palace regularly knew he was already one of the best players in Europe. His final season in the Premier League was phenomenal.
🪄 Michael Olise might just be the best player in the world right now..

The Spectator magazine, edited by Michael Gove, has been forced to issue a humiliating apology to @hopenothate after falsely questioning our journalism. The Spectator is owned by Paul Marshall, who HOPE not hate exposed for liking and reposting racist and anti-Muslim tweets
The Spectator, a right wing news magazine owned by Paul Marshall, falsely accused a HOPE not hate journalist of committing a serious criminal offence. They were forced to retract the story and apologise. But instead of stopping there, The Spectator couldn’t resist one more swing.

The Spectator’s apology shows exactly why this work matters. Their smear failed. They had to delete their original article — despite not telling their readers. Their “apology” is best understood not as regret, but as retaliation from a powerful man who is used to getting his way.

If Nando’s, KFC, Wagamama and Popeyes are going to go back on their (piddling) chicken welfare undertakings because it’s making a teeny dent in their massive profits, they might as well use slaves to save on wages. Fat lazy punters still wouldn’t boycott. thetimes.com/article/bfdd551…
