Lay people don't appreciate how much of post-1960s scholarship has been invalidated by ancient DNA, nor the extent to which it's vindicated earlier scholars, nor how generations have been mal-educated. The post-60s errors are all in a single direction too: they interpret evidence through a model of human nature that predicts behaviors that run contrary to everyday intuition and observation. For example, for decades, dogma was that violence was rare until the bronze age. Of course, violence was, in fact, ubiquitous. Pots changed because people changed, not because (as scholars asserted with straight faces somehow) ideas diffused through word of mouth. You can draw your own conclusions about why the academy pushed this model so hard, but it happened at exactly the same time the academy was pushing tons of other ideas inconsistent with an intuitive understanding of human nature. Ancient DNA has made late 20th century revisionist historiography untenable, but other disciplines are still pushing related nonsense. All of it must be defunded and rebuilt.
Wow, no one could have possibly predicted that late-20th century “historiography” would be less accurate than the ancient sources that they hate so much.

abortion will always be the main issue, especially for women, because we've basically removed permanence from our lives. nothing is eternal anymore you have no-fault divorce and can leave your marriage for any or no reason at all, you can quit your job and just stop showing up, you can drop out and stay in your mom's basement but you can't get pregnant and just quit. not unless you're allowed to kill your child our entire feminized society is built around the idea that you should be allowed to leave any commitment and that you should never have to accept consequences for your choices and now even biological responsibility is seen as a form of oppression
I have kinda accepted that abortion will always be popular and supported, no matter how rational the arguments against it are. I realized it's not about logic, its priorities. Modern society genuinely, wholeheartedly believes killing children is a fair price to pay to not go-

I met a white Dutch-descended South African girl last month. She’s a staunch liberal who supports mass immigration to Europe. Astounding, truly - “accelerationism” is bullshit.

Every critic of gay marriage said this was the logical outcome; virtually every mainstream proponent of gay marriage assured us it would never happen. And here we are.

Yes this was tried in the 18th century. It started a political movement called Everything That Has Happened Since Then
Has anyone done this same thing with Christianity or Islam or whatever, like purging it of all its supernatural elements to create a generic humanist philosophy separate from the religion itself? I think you could emerge with something nearly identical to western Buddhism.

This.
Purging the Israel lobby and “respectable conservative” hawks in favor of racist trolls would unironically be a huge win, politically speaking

The year before WWI, 30% of the world’s population was European and Europeans controlled 85% of the world’s territory. Today those numbers are 10% and 30%. If this was the Mongol Empire or something, you’d get it. But because you’re a retarded liberal you think you’re winning.

The left has nothing and the right can’t help but implode. Bad faith actors and those taking the bait. We have 50 million to deport and hundreds of federal judges to impeach. Decades of work ahead of us. Stop getting distracted.
