Your consultant class team told you to condemn Piker because their PACs wanted it or they think it’s some kind of signal to moderates that they’re going to be the adults in the room and take care of the vitriol on “both sides.” But the newsfeeds of your constituents are full of actual antagonizers and Nazi sympathizers who come to town to destroy property and incident violence for footage their channels. And then all they see you standing up condemning the guy who is on stage talking about sticking it to billionaires, but your team didn’t tell you about guys like Lang. So you are silent on this. During an event watched by hundreds of thousands of would-be democratic voters lmao! And they’re going to be completely clueless and get all pissy about the criticism of this, because they are so out of touch.
